Beach and beach service was excellent, Diego and all beach staff were exceptional! Gerardo was our concierge and he was outstanding. He interceded by way of special services at the restaurant and the theater to watch a football game.

LIKED - called for AC and they fixed it quickly, however the room was damp the entire week. - Food was good - Beach was very good - Entertainment was OK, not great, except guitar player he was really good - Housekeeping was great - Bartenders were great DID NOT LIKE: - Adult pool was so cold it was unusable. Totally not acceptable. - Door to balcony was very difficult to open

The property is beautiful and a great location on the beach. The beach is walkable and felt safe. The resort is slightly out of town so you need to take a cab (unless you are into walking a few miles each way). There was a lot of activities for the kids and well planned. We felt the pools were chilly and used the Caribbean more. We wished they were slightly heated for days that it was too rough to swim in the sea. We were disappointed in the reservation experience for restaurants. The Mole Taco and Fish House both require reservations that were difficult to get due to them always being full. But when you walk by there was always a minimum of 8 tables open even though there was said to be no reservations available for the night. The hotel also needs to hire more staff to clean up after guests (since guests seem to think they don't need to clean up after their selves) as there was always used towels, cups, etc left behind by guests and they were not cleaned up until evening causing chairs to not be usable by other guests and birds to come around and eat off the plates left. Our flight was delayed and so we missed a day of our reservation. It was disappointing that neither Expedia or the resort would work with us on a refund or resort credit for the day we missed out on that was out of our control.

1 rooms are so damp and smell like swage, you need to do sth for the sewage smell when you charge resort money 2 you need better internet, it is barely working 3 elevators were down everyday, multiple times we had to use stair 4 food variation is limited, it takes 10 minutes to order a tea, at least add a hot water container to your buffet area

This hotel is horrible, the staff was rude and I had to pay an additional 4k when we checked in since they couldn't find a payment in their system. I was told I can request a credit in the am and the refund would take up to 10 days. The hotel room was damp and smelled mildewy. the photos on the site are misleading. the all inclusive part doesn't mention staff refusing to provide basic amenities outside certain hours (like a cup of coffee). i asked for a few extra towels since I have kids and a blanket since the room was cold and I was asked why did I need more and maybe they could send some since they are short staffed but the items never came to our room. The bad service and hotel accommodations on the first day forced me to book another hotel the next day. I could share more about the nightmare hotel but I'll save it for now. really read the reviews on this one.

The service was mediocre, however the buffet was awful. The food was very poor quality, and often overcooked with little flavor. I ordered a cheeseburger fron the snack restaurant and the burger patty was made of soy, with cheap America cheese. The shows were, poor qualify, almost comical, as they attempted to be taken seriously. One night the bartender didn't show up, During the show, so if you wanted drinks, you had to walk half the legenth of the hotel to another bar. During another show the entertainment didn't show, so at the beginning of the show the staff asked which of the hotels guests wanted to sing, karaoke. What a joke.

The property needs some upgrades. Beach is wonderful! Ocean in front is murky. Food was very good. Drinks were ok. Plenty of lounge chairs that were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the wicker furniture outside the lobby area. Shows were ok.

The staff was very friendly and worked hard to make our stay comfortable. The food at the buffet was just low average. The meals in the reservation only Fish House was excellent. It was very difficult to secure reservations as they would allow only three per stay. It didn’t make sense as there were many empty tables.
