Plenty of parking space.
A warm welcome from the staff.
A choice of real ales at the bar - good to sample Reverend James by Brain's Brewery again.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable; and the meals were generously portioned, to Henry's delight.
Would cheerfully stay there again.
Everyone was kind and friendly and our stay was relaxed and comfortable. It was everything you'd want for a short stay.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property is good value for money. The room was a little tired but spotlessly clean. I had a problem with the radiator in the room and it was sorted immediately. I ate in the hotel and had a good meal. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again
Great place to stay, convenient and clean. Breakfast is lovely and the pub has a nice atmosphere. Felt welcome and will be staying again when in the area for work. Overall, great value.
Nice clean well maintained hotel, lovely fresh breakfast. We arrived early but they let us check in no problem. Comfy bed, nice and quiet, good tea/coffee biscuits in room on arrival. Plenty of space in car park and friendly helpful staff. Many thanks.
A convenient location for my needs on the edge of a really lovely village. The room was clean and a good size with everything expected including lots of coffee supplies which is always nice to have. The pub was lovely and friendly and had a nice atmosphere. The food was excellent. The evening food menu is reasonably priced and has a good range to choose from. Overall it was excellent quality. Breakfast was also really good with a broad range of options and served quickly with great service. Excellent value for money and a nice place so will be booking in to stay again in the future.
Overnight stay en route to Manchester. I was looking for a hotel not far off the M6 that would break up my journey. It was a little further than I wanted but it was a lovely drive. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were really lovely and friendly and breakfast was thrown in too. Nothing fancy but enough to get you through the morning. Very good. Thank you very much.
Loved our stay here. Very friendly staff and was a really lovely comfortable atmosphere.
Food was amazing, the pie melted in my mouth and the inclusive breakfast was also brilliant. So many options to pick from.
This is certainly going to be one of favourite places to go, we can’t wait to come back.
Thank you so much

I stayed as a stop over en route elsewhere.
It was perfect for what I needed. Room was clean and comfortable.
Good Breakfast options. Friendly staff.
I arrived late so didn't use the bar but it seemed to be a lovely friendly local pub.
