BY THE SEA Culburra Beach, has everything you need to enjoy a fantastic beachside vacation. Situated in a quiet lane with flat easy beach access, just 50 metres away. BY THE SEA is a roomy 4 bedroom house ideal for big and small families. The backyard is fully fenced and the beach offers set off-leash times making it the perfect house to bring your pet.

The large upstairs deck with access directly from the main living area, enhances the enjoyment of outdoor entertaining. Fantastic for eating outside or relaxing in the sun with a good book, coffee or refreshing drink. The new large flat plate BBQ is perfect for a big cook up with family & friends.

Grab your towel and head to the beach for an early morning walk or stay for the day - no car required!! With the beach entrance just 50 metres away you can come and go as you please. After a long day at the beach, you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the large spa bath located in the main bathroom. Separate toilet/shower facilities on the downstairs level make this house perfect for two families.

The recently refurbished kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including basic pantry items, cooking equipment and utensils. Connect to your streaming accounts on the Smart TV upstairs. The rumpus room downstairs is great for the kids to play and get away to watch TV or a DVD. And the 'ping pong' table is sure to get a workout when you need a break from the sun.

Comfortably decorated with 4 bedrooms consisting of 2 Queen bedrooms, one room with a triple bunk (double on the bottom, single on top) and one with single bunk bed, plus a spare mattress if needed. The rooms will be made up ready for your arrival including bath towels. There is a portable cot and highchair on site to save you packing your own.

You will find selection of beach toys and sand equipment including boogie boards, buckets and spades etc which you are most welcome to use.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO

Culburra has two surf beaches, Warrain and Culburra Beach. Warrain is patrolled by the local SLSC club year round. Culburra Beach is patrolled at peak times through the summer only.

The area is surrounded by a lake where you will find plenty of good fishing spots and places to launch your boat. and while you're there see if you can spot the gorgeous black swans during certain times of the year.

Culburra's local shops are just a 5 minutes drive from the house, and include a large Woolworths supermarket where you can stock up on supply's at your convenience. There is also a Chinese restaurant (great for take-away), pizzeria, a couple of great cafe's, bakery, pharmacy and newsagents plus more.

There are lots of mountain bike trails and walks to take in the fresh air or stroll along the long stretch of beaches. Also, visit the lighthouse at Crookhaven heads (about a 15 mins walk each way). You might be lucky enough to spot some seals, dolphins or even a whale.

Only 2.5 hours from Sydney, 15 min from Nowra and 30 minutes from Berry, Kangaroo Valley and Jervis Bay. Take a drive to local areas such as Callala Bay and Callala Beach, Currawong and Huskisson to see more of what the south coast has to offer.

Enjoy a lovely dinner at the renowned Butter Factory restaurant, (located a short drive from Culburra Beach). Culburra also has a local Bowling Club, they have a pick up and drop off service, just make a call and they will come and collect you in their bus and drop you back home. Visit lovely Greenwell Point's Bowling Club for a bistro meal or visit their Chinese Restaurant.

There is plenty to do if you seek it out or just sit back and relax...

Amazing Location Amazing House

My family of 7 including my daughter, her husband and grandchild stayed together in this amazing house. Having the two separate areas for living rooms and double beds meant that everybody got their own space, it was a short 2 night visit. We had amazing breakfast and dinner out on the balcony. A stone throw from the beautiful beach honestly, you could not ask for more. This place is an absolute gem and we made promises to ourselves that we would come back again and again so wonderful thank you for this fantastic stay!!

Awesome, by The Sea

We had a brilliant stay at by The Sea at Culburra beach. The property is well-equipped with all the essential requirements needed for a family holiday getaway. Enjoyed my morning coffee with the family on the wonderful sun-filled balcony, hearing the ocean and viewing the sea. The beach is just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach. Culburra is a lovely beach town that is picturesque with its selection of waterways and activities nearby. Thank You, we had a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. They weather wasn’t always favourable, but being so close to the beach, we made the best of the weather when we could. For the rest of the time, the house had ample space with two living areas. The lounge room upstairs has a beautiful and comfortable lounge. Always happy to find pet friendly accommodation that have great people spaces too! Thanks again, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Perfect Getaway

The house was perfect, we made good use of the deck that you can see glimpses and hear the ocean from. It had everything our family needed, space, board games, body boards and sand buckets and spades, outdoor beach shower, spa and a ping pong table that was very popular. It contained everything you needed in the kitchen. The beach is so beautiful and rich in life, the kids loved finding endless amounts of crabs. It had perfect wave height for my kids. Vanessa, was the kindest and most supportive host we have had to date. Everything was clear and made the whole process smooth. We recommend this house 100% and would visit again.

Highly recommend

Great location and roomy property. Locked ourselves out and the owner was able to assist immediately - great service. Perfect set up for 2x families up and downstairs with plenty of games and entertainment. Seconds from the beach and an easy walk to the point for the sunrise. Will definitely book again.

School Holiday Special

This was our second stay at By the Sea. The house again met all our expectations in terms of cleanliness, presentation, amenities and great barbies on the sun drenched balcony. I thought 12 nights may be a bit long but the weather, location and dog friendly beach makes for an excellent stay of any length. We could have stayed longer. Our host was responsive to all our questions and provides all the little extras you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The living areas are large, light filled and comfortable.
