Perfect little getaway!
My boyfriend and I had a lovely time! Josh at the lobby bar gave us the rundown of all the dining options and where to hit up happy hour. Stone at the signatures bar was a fantastic server and was so accommodating. The outdoor space was PERFECT and so peaceful. The casino was clean and the staff were so friendly.

The firepits were great for sitting around in the evening. We also really enjoyed sitting by the lake in the morning. One downside is the cost of the restaurants within the resort. In particular, I ordered a steak which cost nearly $50 and it came with nothing else!!! Sides were extra!

Resort is great. Love the casino and beach. Would like better parking and more handicapped spaces. Automatic doors at the lobby entrance would be helpful as well as an automatic water bottle refill center at the drinking fountains.

Property was nice. Didn’t like having to pay $75 for cabana when no one was using any of them. Regular chairs on the beach were so uncomfortable the only option was cabana. Smoking in outdoor restaurant areas was annoying. Hallways were very loud outside rooms

We left this stay with mixed feelings about it overall. The only slight pro we found with this property is that it's on the lake. This was nice during the day/at night to go spend some time next to. At night they have sitting areas with propane fire pits, which were a nice touch. The two primary cons we had with the property were (a) the rooms were nothing to write home about - the bed in our first room was so uncomfortable that we had to request a switch - didn't get any sleep that first night and the new bed was not all that different, and (b) there's an extra cost for everything. On the note of (a), Gratefully, the property staff gave us no issues with switching rooms. It was disappointing that the beds weren't all that different. The bathrooms were also really tiny, the decor was a little tacky, and the (small) TV size was kind of comical. On the note of (b), there's a $30 resort fee per day in addition to the fees you already pay for the room. We expected that this fee would come with maybe a continental breakfast, access to items like paddle boats, and/or some other type of amenity. But this wasn't the case. It seemed like it was there for "access" to the lake, which is laughable, considering the poorly engineered sloped beach (sitting/laying on the chairs was impossible) and tiny/rocky swimming area. If you wanted anything else, you had to pay for it. Overall, 2.5/5 stay. Can't say we'd stay here again.

What is unique about the property is its semi-isolation, but access to small towns. Also, it offers beautiful scenery, man-made beach surrounded by a beautiful lake with many water sport amenities (e.g., boating options). They also have large pools (includes indoor). The food is delicious; especially fine dining. Staff is customer driven. Casino is fun and not over crowded. Parking is accessible, and they provide staff driven carts to take you to your car if needed. The only draw back is not having your room cleaned and available at the time of check-in. We had to wait an hour. Also, you have to request for your room to be cleaned each day. However, staff is readily available to accommodate you. Great experience for myself and family! We are planning our next annual and mini-trips there again. I highly recommend this wonderful experience for everyone. Tracy Mc
