I am a Dallas resident, and decided to do a staycation on property for a night only. Upon arriving and checking in, the staff were super sweet. My fiancé and I decided to drop our bags off, and participate in our scheduled activities downtown. Around 10pm, due to us both having work the next morning, we decided to call it a night and return to our room. When we decided to shower, we discovered two dirty towels. One with what appeared to be a blood stain, and one that appeared to be a poop stain. Due to us being tired, we just used the same apparent clean towel to wash up, addressing the issue in the morning. Upon preparing to bed, we pulled back the comforter only to find a decent size brown crusty spot on the sheets. We unquestionably requested new sheets, the new sheets were brought and those pair was not the right size. We requested a new pair of sheets and those sheets were damp. Finally the last pair of sheets we requested was fine enough. Not to mention, we had to change all pairs of sheets ourselves. We ended up not going to bed until almost 2, dealing with that and it sucked. Great hotel, but for almost $200 for one night, we experienced a true inconvenience. After explaining my situation during checkout, all the manager could offer was a free garage parking… Extremely unsatisfied, questioning my next visit here..

The property itself is nice and the room was great. What we did not like was the parking and communication with front desk. When we 1st arrived we asked where the parking was at and the front desk lady said “idk, anywhere” so we parked 2 blocks down and paid for parking. When we saw they had a garage later on at night and i asked another front desk employee if that was parking for the hotel and she told me yes and told me how to get there BUT never said it was valet ONLY and it was $45 a night!!! So we moved our car out of a parking spot we had and paid to move it to the garage for no reason because we were not paying $45 a night so went all the way back and paid AGAIN to park where we were. It was ridiculous. We will not be staying here again because the lack of communication of their front desk and parking situation. I love Marriott but would not recommend this place!

My daughter and I were in Dallas for a fun weekend to see a concert. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom shower was great! The hotel was located more on the outskirts of downtown so we did have to use ride share services often to get around. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Front desk agent was extremely rude and I can only assume it was due to race, as she was kind to the person in front of us and behind us of a different race, which was the same as hers. At night, there was a man running around outside with a gun that had just robbed a place, in addition to homeless in the park adjacent to the property.
