Lackluster service

Our check in experience was a little disappointing. After a long drive there, we were ready to check in and were surprised and happy to see no line at the counter. Despite that we stood there for at least 5 minutes before the desk clerk even acknowledged us. She finally said that it would be “one moment” and so we waited another 5 minutes for her. It was really confusing because the clerk was literally just listening to another clerk try to resolve some issue on the telephone. She finally got bored of that conversation and turned her attention to us and then we were able to check in.

The room was very nice - clean, spacious, well decorated and nicely stocked with the essentials. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that we were not informed before we booked the hotel that we would be charged just for parking there at the hotel. I think the high cost of overnight parking should have been disclosed up front. I would have chosen a different location had I been aware . Overall, though, the hotel was very nice .

I booked a corner room, but it only had windows on one side. then we noticed it had no tub and had to change rooms, and the dirt on the windows made it impossible to enjoy the view. Also, no breakfast, and they wanted to charge 5.75 for a cup of coffee. Oh and you had to use there valet service for 50 dollars. im not an experienced traveler but learned hard lessons.

Great place to stay

The staff here is the friendliest around even on a busy night like NYE. Clean rooms and perfect location for anything you need downtown. I was impressed
