Book Dangriga hotels

Being birdwatchers, the location worked out very well. We saw about 50 species of birds from the porch. It was nice to be out of town but close enough to make quick trips into town. Having two bathrooms was a plus as well as having laundry facilities. We had great WiFi connectivity, and minor issues were quickly resolved. We enjoyed our 3 week stay.

Our stay was March 16-23rd. Two adults and an 11 year old. We stayed in the Deluxe Garden View room which actually had a very nice view of the ocean and was also a suite of two bedrooms, so our daughter had her own room which made her very happy and comfy. The room was beautiful throughout. The staff got to know our names quickly and it very like home by day two. The resort was full but the pool was never really crowded nor was the beach. There were many times where felt like the only people at the resort. The restaurant and bars available on the property were great. The dock had a really cool spot for seeing fish at night. Our daughter loved it. The beach and water were really nice though there was a sargasm mess for a few days. It didn’t hamper our fun. Hopkins village is loaded with food spots. Our two favourites were Ellas Cool Spot & Nice Cream Ice Cream Shoppe. We rented a golf cart for the week which made it easy to get around town. We took a tour to Xunantunich which was amazing and also went on a half-day fishing excursion which was also crazy cool. We caught a barracuda and numerous snapper. A truly perfect week for us. Weather was exactly as forecast with no surprises. I highly recommend this place. We spent a bit more than expected while there but it was definitely worth it.

The hotel and staff are excellent DO NOT eat at the restaurant It is unspeakably bad. The food is terrible prepared The kitchen is amazingly unskilled at food preparation . It will make you vomit I’ve never had an experience like it anywhere

Clement, the owner of the property, was very kind and helpful. The room was simple but clean. A great value. Nice location right on the ocean and near a beautiful river. A water machine to refill your water bottle was available with nice cold drinking water. I will definitely stay again next time I’m in Dangriga.
