The staff were unremittingly cheerful and polite but over-burdened. If you needed attention at reception they were busy in the bar; if you needed help in your room they were busy in the restaurant. They had problems finding the form for help with evacuation in the event of a fire and they were unable to assist in its completion (It's an incomprehensible and useless form anyway.) When we arrived we couldn't turn on the TV; the next night we couldn't turn it off. We had a room for two but only one of us could sit down - it took two days before another chair was delivered. We were invited to save our towels but they were replaced anyway - but not precisely. We finished up with 4 hand towels and I bath towel.
It's also a shame that you need to endure the traffic jams approaching the Tunnel before arriving at the hotel.
