Building is in really, really bad shape
Great service, good location, okay rooms, terrible...terrible building. Everyone was really nice but the level of deferred maintenance on this building is borderline scary. Stucco chipping off the walls, one balcony was missing guard rails and had a sheet of plywood for fall protection, light posts in the parking lot were rusted through and flaking, funky smell in common areas which was made worse by an attempt to cover it up with air fresheners. Would not recommend.

Very clean and recently updated!!! The staff was amazing and helped me with several things I needed assistance with!!!! It was my birthday and I arrived hours before check in by accident and I was exhausted from my travels and they were kind enough to let me check in early. They had a room cleaned immediately so I could check in and rest!!!!! I honestly have no complaints! The room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable!!!! Great view and overall a good experience!!!! I will be back soon

People working there were friendly and tried to help. Room was wet all the time- floors were moist and slippery from humidity in room and non-working AC. Had to go our for food- nothing like advertised. Hotel mostly unoccupied and didn't feel safe. Will not return when here next month.

The staff were very friendly and tried very hard to accommodate the guests. They were severely understaffed. Hotel itself in poor shape. Services were not available. Had to go to front desk for towels and toilet paper as no one available to deliver them. The AC didn't work well and there was a dehumidifier that we had to empty every few hours. Phone in room didn't work and TV didn't work well with remote. BEDS were very comfortable but linen had stains. Restaurant and Tiki Bar were not anything like depicted on website. Restaurant was not opened most of the time. Tiki Bar was never opened. Food was limited as they didn't have many things on the menu or anyone to cook it. I rented 2 rooms for our group and had to pay an extra $30. for early check in of 2 hours early for a room that was already clean and vacant the 2 days prior to that party joining us. The hotel was maybe 1/4 occupied. The 3rd room for our party was ocean front and very moldy. Not clean and the AC didn't function well. I do not recommend this hotel. I will not returned. I understand that establishments in this area were damaged over the past 2 years but be honest with the limits when advertising if you are charging top dollar.

This is our go to place when in Daytona. The staff is so friendly. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable but what is nice having a restaurant in the hotel. It is nice to wake up and go downstairs for breakfast. Oh the Tiki Bar is awesome.

I called up to the hotel and told them i was not going to make it there because my mother ended up in the hospital and i was worried about being charged im not sure who i talked to but they said dont worry that we understand that you are dealing with a emergency and no charges will be taken from my card unfortunately i lost my mother Saturday night and your hotel took one hundred and sixteen dollars and ten cents from me and that left me with 19 dollars in my account and that left me with no way to put fuel in my vehicle to get home i had to borrow money to get home your hotwl is the worst dishonest hotel who would do that to a person that is about to lose their mother im going to make sure that people know how this hotel is dishonest and the people lie for the hotel you should be ashamed of yourself for taking money from someone that couldn't make it because i was about to lose my mother yall should be ashamed of yourselves and i hope god sees you

Was a nice clean room. Nice bathrooms and beds. Had a fire watch which meant all fire alarms and sprinklers were not functional. Kind of scary. Breakfast is not complimentary and not worth the additional fee. Had an elevator and a bunch of stuff broken in the hallways.

Overall it’s a nice place to stay: big rooms, clean property, very friendly staff, big pool and easy access to the beach. The reason I put four stars because I booked a room with a kitchenettes and there were no pots, cooking pans or cooking utensils at all. Also, on the web site when you are choose the room, it gives you either “city” or “ocean” view options, and I paid for an “ocean” view room. The room that I got was partially ocean view and partially pool view. This detail has to be described on the website, so people know what to expect and what they are paying for.
