Bajos:
Watching the ocean, day and night, from your living room or kitchen makes an incredible beach vacation. Being across the street from the beach makes it that much better. You can have that when you stay at Bajos Apartment at Casas de la Playa Beachside. This downstairs unit offers a one bedroom (queen size bed), one bath, full kitchen, central heating and air, and everything you need to make a memorable holiday for two (2). The unit, with ceramic tile floors, is simply furnished in an old Florida vacation style. As with all Casas de la Playa properties, the apartment is fully equipped from pots and pans to linens and towels. Facing the ocean you can spend time relaxing on the covered front porch and observing nature in your habitat protected front yard (you may see one of several gopher tortoises that call it home). Or, you also have the option of relaxing in your own private fenced terrace at the entrance to Bajos – great place for a picnic or take in a private tanning session. Amenities include Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Bajos has all it takes to escape to the beach.
As a part of Casas de la Playa Beachside, Bajos is hidden away in a sleepy residential neighborhood by the ocean. Located several blocks south of the Flagler Beach Pier, you are still close to large variety of shops and restaurants, but out of the direct push of tourist traffic. Perfect get away for couple and dogs

Girlfriend and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. The time was great. It was a little confusing to find as we circled around it a few times befor finding the right location. Many places within walking distance. The walk to the beach was only across the street. And mostly anything we needed was still within Flagler beach.

Magical Old Fl accommodations and town!

Our second stay here. The unit is perfect: full kitchen, 2 shady outdoor areas, view of the ocean, short walk to the beautiful, quiet beach, dog friendly accommodations, a small fenced in area to keep dogs safe and dogs allowed on the beach😍 The hosts were great! Nice little town

The property was very accommodating and the location was great. Quiet and private, but just a minute away from all the activity/restaurants/shops in Flagler Beach. The only downside is that, due to recent bad weather, all the beach access points near our location had been closed off/shut down. This was only a minor inconvenience as the beach is accessible by driving just a few minutes either north (into town) or south (away from town). All the people are friendly and pleasant. The property owner made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

Oleander cottage vacation

We actually ended up at the oleander cottage in the downtown area due to beach access issue. The owner solved our issue and was fast to make things right. Great location, walking distance to everything you could need. Wonderful ocean breezes in the evening in your own private courtyard to relax in. Will be going back for sure. Owners were amazing!

Pros: nice location, didn't lose electricity had high winds, stove/oven worked good, heat worked well Cons: cockroaches - in the kitchen especially on the wall facing the ocean, ants everywhere except the bedroom, my husband thinks there is water leaking into the kitchen wall facing the ocean the shelfs on that wall shelfs were totally wet lined with newspaper. Front yard and side yard were totally overgrown blocked the view to the ocean. Needs to be trimmed. Broken tiles on the front area could be a hazard for people with mobility issues. Not disabled residency with people with disabilities. Could be a nice place if some work and garden trimming was done.

Wonderful Old Florida!

Comfortable, quiet, clean with perfect fenced in area for our 100 lb. dog to explore and chase lizards 😊 We are beyond thrilled that we found this cute house with a fully stocked kitchen, ocean view, and shady areas for us and our pup 😍 Many thanks to the owners for keeping this vintage house in such great condition and for allowing pets❣️

Very positive experience

Very clean one bedroom located across the street from the ocean. Had a very nice surprise welcome that was greatly appreciated. A nice touch. There were two lounge chairs on the deck leading to the beach that were not hot even in the hit sun. Accessories were generous. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Beachy cottage

Had a most relaxing experience here. The location for beach access could not have been better. This is a beautiful stretch of natural and unspoiled beach. Flagler Beach itself is a charming little town. The beachy little cottage was nothing fancy but had a relaxing vibe and was quite cozy for just us and our fur baby. The host was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property for a short stay.

Bajos

We are so glad to have visited Flagler Beach. Our Bungalow was just right for the two of us, and was right across AIA to the sand and sea. We soaked in the sun, cooked most of our meals there and had some party time at Tortugas on our last night. We would definately return in the future. Thank you Andres for your quick action on our arrival, and for your quick responses to our concerns.

Myself and pet mini vacay

Nice overall. Loved the location. I only do the beach in the mornings and early eves to avoid sun so it was great to have a porch to sit on and read in between while listening to the waves. Only thing I'd recommend is getting a larger kitchen and bathroom wastebasket and leaving a couple liners for each. I brought extra stuff with me but for the price that's really basic that should be covered. Those were tiny trash cans and with me cooking I constantly had to replace liners in 4 days. Overall old school Florida - nothing fancy but basically nice and clean which is the main thing. Owners were easy to interact with. ISome broken tile around the porch that needed replaced or reglued. Slipped on that several times. Nice people. Thanks!

Cute, mostly clean, enjoyed

Quaint and cute but could use a good deep cleaning especially on the walls . Construction was being done right beside and in front so that was frustrating but no fault to the owner on that one. "Dog enclosure " was kind of a joke. Owner was friendly and helpful and overall enjoyed our stay. A little over priced in my opinion.

Perfect beach getaway

Great getaway!

This property was compact, cute and CLEAN. It was perfect for my husband and our dogs. There is a fenced area where we could let the dogs out at night. There is a large front patio where we ate dinner. All the necessities were there for us. The location was perfect. The host left a personal greeting for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

I Loved Everything Here!

I loved everything about my stay here! I already miss it and have only been gone a couple of days. Andres was a wonderful host and left everything I might want to know in a notebook in the house along with phone numbers and instructions to call if I needed anything. It was a very comfortable, a joy to have the patio(s) and garden available and what a gift to be able to see and hear the ocean anytime from a window. Thank you!! Thanks for making this trip extra special. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return someday.

Great location

If you're looking for an experience in a place that comes close to what Florida used to be like, this could be it. Glitz and gaudiness are just down the road, but not here. The property and location are just what we were looking for: neat and tidy cottage just across the road from the beach, comfortable bed, easy walk to town-center, dog friendly neighborhood for off-beach walks, the sound of the ocean, ... A draw for us was the prospect of a "dog friendly" environment. It was, but Fido can't romp on the beach untethered because leash ordinances are in effect for dogs and they're not allowed on the popular town pier. They're welcome at outside-dining restaurants, though. Also, be prepared to provide your own amenities. A bar of soap was provided, but the usual shampoo, coffee, etc., are up to you. A nice touch, however, was a bottle of wine awaiting us when we arrived. Andres was exceptionally responsive to emails and was obviously interested that we enjoyed our stay. Be sure and check this one out.
