Beautiful Hotel. Breakfast was good, the bar was good. My family n I were very pleased with this hotel. Steve (the beautiful bald guy) at the front desk is just so cool.He really made check- in great. This is definitely gonna be our new place to stay whenever we go to Rapid City.

The hotel was a convent walk to town and museums. We booked a 9:30 am shuttle to the airport. Because the flight crews time had been changed to 10:00 am they decided to change our time without telling us. When I complained a management person drove us. We stood in the security check in line for 2 hours 20 minutes and almost missed our plane. They should not change things without consultation.

They allow very noisy motorcycles park near the entrance. This noise carried up to our room. Why they do not make them in a parking spot is beyond me.

My kids loved this hotel
Hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was clean however, the soap dispenser heads were broken. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room quickly.

This hotel is a completely renovated former Embassy Suites (with the center atrium) near downtown. The renovation was extensive and other than the structural layout, everything is new. We were very pleased and staff were great. A short walk (.5 miles) will get you to the historic downtown with shops and dining.

Stayed in room 202, carpet stains and bad Oder. Almost asked to switch rooms but was too tired. Morning staff did not even acknowledge my presence when I returned the keys and said we were checking out so I left the key in the box and left. No offer of receipt or inquiry of our stay, just nothing. Steve who checked us in was great and so was the breakfast staff.

The outside park was not very safe but police did a good job at patrolling the park everyday and night! The smell of stale cigarettes was in the room as soon as you walked in, that was very nasty! But I liked everything else. The room was clean and staff was friendly just the smell of cigarettes in the room. We even moved rooms as we arrived into another room and both had the lingering smell of stale old cigarettes!
