Front desk clerk had an earbud in and was on a personal call the entire check in time, and when the keys didn’t work to the room, told me to “go try again”… After a second time trying with no luck, she came around the desk very put out and while still on the personal call, attempted to get the keys to work to no avail and stated “they aren’t going to work, I can just let you in when you need in”… After it was made clear that wouldn’t work for us, she finally moved our room.
While I’m thankful for the end solution, there are too many hotels out there to stay somewhere with an obvious lack of decent, professional customer service.
