Stay Away From the 12th Floor
We have stayed here for other occasions and been fine. Check in was fine, there were extra pillows on the bed, clean bathroom with plenty of towels and wash clothes. Beds were comfortable, the room was small which was fine with us as we used it only for sleeping/showering. What we never experienced before was the noise both day and night. We were placed on the 12th floor which must be near house keeping or maintenance (is our guess), but we heard voices, movement, water going on/off all hours while we were in our room. Two ice machines on the 12th floor which were located in what appeared to be mop closets or laundry rooms and neither of the ice machines were operational. The location is spectacular, easy pick up/drop off fo Uber, walking distance to multiple pubs and restaurants, great value, just stay off the 12th floor.

The location was ideal for travel. The staff were great and the room was clean and very spacious. There was some noise from the street and more noise from people in an adjacent room. Otherwise my stay was good.

Close to conference center. Terrible HVAC system.
The location of the hotel is good for a convention. However the hotel’s HVAC system is terrible. The temp controls in the room do nothing. My room was 72 no matter what I did. Coworkers’ rooms were either hot or freezing. Staff was nice. Breakfast area was fine. But this hotel needs HVAC help. I won’t be back.

My first room had no heat or working refrigerator. Moved down the hall and I still had no heat so the maintenance man brought me a small electric heater and that's all I had for two days in December in Denver. Cold room, ended up wearing a jacket entire stay. Staff was very nice.

The Holiday inn in downtown Denver was a pleasant experience for us. Directly across from the Brown Palace hotel, you have access to the restaurants and bars. 17th and Tremont is a great location for walking the 16th Street Mall in Denver, the state capital and other areas of interest. Staff was excellent and friendly. Room was bigger than was expected and super quiet for the evening.

I secured the room for myself and a group of high school girls attending a weekend conference in Denver. After dropping the girls at the conference on Friday I arrived at the hotel with about 8 bags. The valet allowed me to park in their area while I got everything settled with check in and our bags to out room. The front desk folks tracked down a luggage cart for me, an employee who had just gotten off work and was leaving helped me load it. That was great - so appreciated! Our suite was clean and comfortable. I really appreciate the security measures in place in the building - made me feel much more secure with a bunch of teenage girls!
