Pelican Beach Resort, 1712 - 2 BR 2 BA directly on the beach.

Fully renovated, this amazing 17th floor unit features a beautiful beach contemporary style with gulf views from the living room, kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom. This unit has the biggest balcony available at Pelican Beach, featuring a full-size dining table with four chairs and two patio loungers. Enjoy your morning coffee while you admire the sunrise over the gorgeous waters of the Emerald Coast!

Our 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo comes fully equipped with everything you need for a fantastic vacation. The condo sleeps 6 people comfortably. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean from the Master Bedroom, which features a sliding door to the balcony. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed, and the Guest Bedroom features a Queen Size Bed. The mattresses and sleeper sofa were recently updated. Each bedroom has a wall-mounted flat screen smart TV (new in 2021) with cable and the ability to stream Netflix and other apps using your own password.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and a Keurig coffee maker. The living room features a sleeper sofa, 55 inch flat screen TV and dvd/blu-ray player. Complimentary wireless internet comes with all rentals. The condo is equipped with a brand new washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Our unit features keypad entry, so no need to wait for a key to start your vacation!

Pelican Beach Resort is a first-class Gulf-front resort – no long walks to the beach! The resort features 2 pools, one strictly outdoor with waterfall feature and one indoor/outdoor pool, plus a kiddie pool and a hot tub. There is a seasonally operated bar in the on-site tiki hut, adjacent to the pool and beach. The lobby area is newly renovated. In addition, there is a work fitness center, game room, umbrella and chair rentals, tennis courts, pickleball court, basketball goal, security at the entrance, covered parking, and a seasonal cafe on-site.

Pelican Beach Resort is located in the heart of Destin, right across the street from the Big Kahuna Water Park. The prime location allows for easy access to the best Destin has to offer. Check out the nearby restaurants to enjoy the best seafood on the Emerald Coast. Shopping can be enjoyed at the nearby Destin Commons mall, or at the Silver Sands outlet mall that is just a short drive away. Catch a boat to go deep-sea fishing or watch the day’s catch be brought in at the nearby Destin Marina.

Please note that we do have minimum stay requirements that vary by season. Peak summer season requires weekly Saturday to Saturday stay.

Amazing Condo!

Friends day at the beach
We had a short stay do to the hurricane but we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. There was a fan for the bedroom and nice chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The condo had a great view and was tastefully decorated. The condo was clean with all the things you need to have a nice stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

So many great things to say about not only this unit, but the resort as well. First things first, we made this reservation with less than 24 hours to spare due to Hurricane Debby botching our original vacation plans. The hosts laid out everything we needed to know about the resort and the unit clearly. A+ there. Next up, everything you need to know about your vacation home and sleeping quarters: place was spotless, AC worked great, showers were hot and water pressure was great, beds were comfy. Kitchen had all the tools we needed. Balcony was huge and a fun hang at night once the kiddo was asleep. As far as the resort goes, I saw the reviews that mentioned that staff was rude or strict, we didn’t experience that at all. I thought everyone on site was friendly and accommodating. Yes, you need to pay for chairs and an umbrella on the beach, but that didn't bother us. Less stuff to carry is a win for me. Plus they allow beer and booze on the beach, so that’s better than the county beaches and worth a little bit of a premium. We’ll be back!

This condo was perfect for this year’s girl’s trip! Spacious, comfortable and located directly on the beach! Centrally located to all the best restaurants! Communication was great with owners! Super helpful and quick to answer any questions we had! Cleanliness was a big miss but hopefully was a one-off and wouldn’t detour us from staying again!

The room is great. Clean, modern, and comfy. The view is unbelievably beautiful. The resort that the condo is located in is our absolute favorite because of the great location and amenities available on-site. It’s our go-to spot in Destin. The room has everything you need for a great vacation.

Awesome vacation!
We had an amazing vacation at this resort! Beautiful heated pools, music and tiki bar was great! Very friendly staff. Safe place to stay. Plenty of space to set up own chairs and towels on beach. Cafe had excellent breakfast and lunch! Room was clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for cooking...brand new beach chairs...beautiful room...thoroughly pleased!! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Girls Getaway Week
The property was in a wonderful and easy to get around location. We only walked and rode bikes! No rental car. Amenities were wonderful! Didn't get to use the Tiki Hut as the weather did not cooperate for the opening day:(. The unit itself was great. Maybe the cleaning crew could have a bit of an eye for detail in the bathrooms. Floors corners ect. Was great to have 2 master spaces. The balcony is awesome. Kitchen well stocked. Washer and Dryer a nice plus. Thank you

Great location!
We recently started at this location for the weekend. You literally step off the walk way from the condo and you are on the beach! The heated pools were amazing our December get away. The beds! Ahhh! Slept amazing! Wish there were beach towels for guests, as we only had a carry on luggage & couldn't pack those...but there than that, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Thanks for a great birthday weekend!

Family trip
What a great family trip with my mother. This was our first trip to Florida. The unit was even better thank the pictures showed and described. Unit had so much more than you’ll need. Every dish and utensil that you’ll need. They even gave us a starter pack of dish soap, hand soap, cloths detergent, etc. The views from the unit and master were totally worth it. Don’t let the side unit deter you. Very beautiful!! Both beds were extremely comfortable. We even had tons of games, puzzles, and binoculars. We can’t sleep with a fan and since we flew in we didn’t have one. No worries there was one there waiting for us. The washer and dryer cane in handy. Pelican is so close to everything. With the August heat we of course drove but barely used any gas because it’s so close. Win Dixie is across the street and Walmart is just down the road. Tiki bar and pools were amazing!! Loved having drinks and food right there. Set up beach service before we came and it was worth it and they did a great job. Just can’t say enough about the location and unit. Thanks again for a wonderful time and we will definitely be booking next year with the family.

Pelican Beach - Destin
Condo was fine as listed, property (Pelican Beach) is run like a summer camp with rules for all their campers. Security is constantly watching you, telling you where to go and what to do. Front desk was rude and unhelpful (couldn't /wouldn't recommend anything in the area). They keep everything relatively clean, but they close pools and beach at the first drop of "weather in the area" and keep it closed. County lifeguards patrolled beaches constantly and about ran over children playing in the sand. They do not allow private set-ups on the beach (you have to rent to see the ocean) and cram you in like sardines making you stay under your umbrella (to make room for the lifeguards on 4wheelers). miserable experience! Go somewhere else! This felt like we were on lockdown. 👎

1st time using VRBO, wont be the last... Everything went smooth... From confirmation, to Check In, till Check out..The Host was very quick in responding after we confirmed.. The Condo was just as described.. Very Clean and equipped with everything you would need. The Balcony View was great.. Walk down stairs to the 3 pools and the beach..I will definitely rent this unit again..The Resort itself was well staffed, Parking was good as well as onsite security..Ever Staff member we encountered was friendly and polite.. The Best part was the elevators was very fast no long waits even from the 17th floor..Thanks Again for a great vacation...

The property was great. Under construction but everything was still able to be used. The room was fairly clean. I don’t think the floors had been swept or mopped in months. My small children’s feet stayed black and were unable to walk barefoot. The air quit working about 8 pm and we reported it. We were told it would be the next day before anyone could check it out. Which wasn’t great to not have air with small kids. Overall a good stay.

Easy booking! Excellent Hosts! We asked for a re-cleaning of the floors and the jumped right on it, as well as getting the bathroom sink unclogged! No issues that they didn’t jump right on! I only wished we had been able to check In early (if cleaning people were done). That is the ONLY thing! The room was nice, stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and complimentary dish soap and toilet paper (enough for a couple days)! We loved our vacation!
