Overall it was a good stay in a good location. A major issue was that we were not notified that the elevator was not in service. We had already checked in with our baggage cart full, standing at the elevator when we seen the sign. Neither of the 2 staff at checking advised us of the elevator situation. This is very poor customer service, No message to inform us the elevator was out of service during our online check in as well. The elevator was never working during our stay. We were messaged by the hotel to inform us of our request for adjoining rooms that we requested at the time of booking, but could not be accommodated. The front desk staff at checkin and checkout did not seem to be concerned about the elevator. This situation should have been rectified immediately! Both mornings of our stay the clerk at the front desk was very rude and cranky. Another smaller issue was the toaster in the breakfast room, it had to be unplugged at each use to get the toast out because the toast fell to the bottom. Surely such a simple appliance should have a back up.

Elevator not in working order. Room was dirty upon arrival, could use a really good dusting, vacuuming & disinfecting. There was an issue with the drain in tub backing up and not draining. There were drain flies and a bad smell coming from sink. Guest services was nice and helped resolve some issues.

Hallways had a smell and carpet was dirty and stained through out hallways and stairs. Elevator not working. No facial tissues. 1 roll of toilet paper (no extra). 2 washcloths for 2 adults staying 2 nights. Bedspreads were holey like moths had chewed them. A piece of the laminate from the sink counter was missing.

At 14:30 hours checking in early, the entrance and the appearance was sub standard, I understand that it was windy out, however the side entrance was also dirty, the carpets in the hallway looked Like they had not been cleaned yet, and if this is the first floor appearance is the first thing guest see, the staff stated that it was windy out and the vacuuming had not been done yet, to me that was a pretty bad excuse, also as I waited for the staff to return my payment , I looked at the floor of the eating area and there too it had not been vacuumed at 2:30 in the afternoon, breakfast is over at 1000, not what I had expected from a LaQuinta hotel,

Family Friendly. Had an excellent stay start to finish. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean and smelled nice. Extra towels and pillows. Definitely gonna stay again when we visit family next time.
