We had a three day stay, but had to exchange rooms because the floor was extremely nasty. The floor in the new room was also nasty. We were informed that by motor city casino that they were installing new carpet. However, the view worthwhile.

The carpet in the room and in the common areas was in need of a good cleaning or replacement! My wife did not even want to walk on it in her bare feet. Other than that the room was clean. But the carpet issue made it a not so good experience.

The room was immaculate and spacious, with high end ammenities. The facilities made us feel like we were on a high-end cruise ship with multiple restaurant options and huge casino. We appreciated that the main casino was smoke free. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay again when in the Detroit area.

Nice room but needs a little updating.
The rooms need a little updating. There were no UBS ports in the room to charge phones, and the TV picture was not good when you selected live TV. The room and beds were comfortable and it was nice having a soaker tub and shower.

This is the highest amount I've ever paid for a 1 night stay ($500). There were m&ms on the floor in the room. Two of the pillowcases had noticeable stains on them. For the price I expected a clean pillow to sleep on. Carpets were stained, chair was ripped, and there were holes in the blackout side of the curtains. The friendless of the staff and the location to downtown was the only reason we stayed. All staff was amazing and made up for some of the flaws.

We drove to Detroit from Chicago for the Usher concert on 9/13 and stayed here overnight. Upon check in the check agent was NOT warm or friendly BUT everyone we encountered thereafter was awesome! From the security guard to the shuttle driver everyone was so nice. The room was clean, well maintained and really nice - better than some of the Las Vegas properties I’ve stayed at. I loved my overalll experience.
