Great spot - a hidden gem I’ve never known about and we frequent Downtown Detroit! Next time we will make reservations for the Candy Bar - I didn’t realize this was reservation only 😔

It was a very lively place, very social and central to everything you need. I was pleasantly shocked at how much better it is in person. The valet boys also did an amazing job and were great.

Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location and loved the history of the Wurlitzer Building being saved from the wrecking ball and turned into a boutique hotel.

We had a lovely stay at The Siren Hotel. Great, safe location near stadiums. It’s a beautifully decorated and unique hotel. Rooms are small, but clean and it was perfect for our needs. Beds were very comfortable. I wish there was a fridge in the room. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Ivory at the front desk was top notch. Bar and coffee shop in the lobby. Parking is by valet. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to get our car after we checked out, so that makes the parking situation not very convenient.

I only stayed 1 night but had a good experience overall. My only complaint is there was no coffee in the room, which was disappointing. Other than that, it was clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, & it's in a great location.

Unique
Interesting, quirky, boutique hotel. Our room was extremely small, with a tiny double bed, no fridge or wardrobe space. Next to the high-line metro, so a little noisy. Nice cafe on in the lobby. A bit expensive for what it was but good fun for one night. If John Wick were to stay in Detroit, it would be here.

This is a lovely boutique hotel that is a nice alternative to big-name hotels. Having said that, my room was on the small side; I was a single traveler and managed ok, but I can't see a couple being comfortable in it. Additionally, the window was not soundproof, so street traffic and the PeopleMover stopping and starting were very audible. I had to use a white noise app on my phone to try to drown out the noise. The Siren should invest in soundproof windows to make the customer experience more relaxing.

Fabulous location, quaint old lobby, bar and restaurant. Unfortunately the room was tiny, lacked any closet space. We could barely walk around the double bed.

It was a central location which we needed but the room we recieved was definitely only for sleeping and showering very tiny with tiny windows that were high up so you couldn’t see out of, valet was nice and quick and check in was nice. Beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable.Definitely could’ve used a map of the hotel certain things like elevator and ice were more difficult to find.

Convenient location to sports, but horrible traffic and pedestrian noise throughout the night. If you need sleep, book elsewhere. No room fridge, micro or coffee. Priced high.

The location of the Siren is wonderful and we enjoyed the bars (Ash and Candy bar) on the property. Unfortunately, the room was not what we expected it to be. We know the hotel is old and has a lot of “vintage” flair to it, but the room was outright dirty. We booked a double Queen bed (not by choice, but because that’s all that was available) and the first bed we went to get into had large visible yellow/brown spots all over it. We move over to the other bed, pull back the comforter and there were black pieces of unknown substance all over the bed. By the time we went to bed and found the bed conditions, housekeeping had already left for the day. In the room itself, there were multiple scratches all over the walls, missing light fixtures, and issues with our hot water in the shower (only got warm and wouldn’t get warmer once it hit a certain temperature). For $500 a night, this hotel was not worth it to us despite the convenient location. We hope the hotel can do better in the future as all of these issues could have been prevented. Expedia was wonderful with addressing our concerns and the hotel was as accommodating as they could be, but we were not offered another room.
