The windows were very dirty and grungy. Not attractive for paying as much as I did! And the halls were rather noisy in the evening and the room didn’t stink but it didn’t smell good either!

Normally, this is our 'Go To' place in DL. I love the privacy and pet allowance. However, we were charged MUCH more than the quoted room rate. We were quoted $92 on Expedia but when we got on site, we were charged $164 for a Thursday night. Even though this place is quaint, it is not worth that price. That is what they charge on a weekend day at the Holiday Inn right next door which is nicer.

The mattress was not the best. The comforter was torn on the edges. The pool looks old. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast offered a lot of choices. The room was clean.

Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. the room was ok for cleanliness. Pool was cloudy and did not seem like it was clean. The gym was in good condition and kept up nice. Weird smell in the hallway and room. Ice machine didn’t work and the doors to the hotel hallway wouldn’t lock. Breakfast was alright. For the high last minute price I paid and the condition and cleanliness of the property I would not be staying again.

We had a great stay! I especially want to thank Kent who was manning the front desk when we got in, exhausted from a long day. I was so tired I had forgotten I had provided my friend’s name for his room, and so thought they didn’t have both. After patiently helping to figure it out, we got settled. Great base for exploring the area, and very good value.

An ok stay
The pool was murky and the kids didn’t want to use it even with the water slide, which was why i booked this hotel. I liked that the pool room was accessible from the second and first floor, but we didn’t use it because of the cloudy water. The room seemed very damp and the air conditioner could hardly keep up with the heat. The A/C was not dehumidifying at all. We did not ask for a different room, so it may have been an isolated problem. The building exterior was set up like a motel, but the interior had hallways where you enter the rooms from inside the building. It was nicely decorated and the elevator worked well. However, the side door did not lock as it should have which compromised our sense of security. The continental breakfast was abundantly stocked with many options, and it had a waffle and pancake station as well. The breakfast room was charming with plants growing outside the windows and a balcony to look out onto. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great stay!
The staff were amazing from check in to check out. They were friendly, helpful and made the stay great. The property is older but kept up really well. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before - only for the cost. The biggest issue is the doors! There is a door from the outside and a door from the interior. Neither one ever works! We stood in the rain yesterday twice trying to get into the room! These has been a constant problem for the past 2 years we have stayed! In the winter we froze because the heat didn’t work - lo and behold when we checked out there was a padlock on the unit outside! Plus we could only unlock the door from the interior, then unlock the door to let my husband in! This is a big problem! We only stay here because of the cost! Family members live here so we travel for holidays. If they could solve the issue of the doors it would be a more enjoyable experience
