Everything was great until we tried to use the Jacuzzi tub. A bunch of green sediment was in the tub water, it took over an hour, two maintenance workers and a cleaner in our room to recitify the issue. Two hours and i could not get anyone from the frontdesk on the phone. It was our anniversary and this pit a 1-2 hour stop gap in our plans.

Looks so run down and old. Elevators take forever. Front desk and room service never answer the phone. You have to go all the way downstairs if you wanna purchase a movie in your room. Bed says queen but it’s more of a double. Only good thing about the place is the mall is just downstairs but I would never stay there again.

Everything was great except security in parking lot as I kept seeing people (people who are arguing/fighting, homeless, drunk people) who did not make me feel safe to have my vehicle there. Also when we were waiting on an elevator to check out really close to 11 (busiest time of a day), housekeepers were using elevators customers use with a cleaning cart, we waited 15mins or so to be able to get into an elevator. They should have their own elevator(s) elsewhere.

So-so in Edmonton
The restaurant was great and staff very helpful, however the heating system didn't work and the tv would turn itself off every 15 to 20 minutes. There was construction blocking the normal entrance to the hotel with no signage directing people to where they could get to the hotel entrance.

Upon our arrival at the hotel, a staff member advised against booking through Expedia, urging us to book directly instead, which struck me as odd. While I understand they may receive a discounted rate from Expedia, such a made me feel like we were not welcome. The initial room we were assigned, 520, right by the elevator and it was emitting a strong odor resembling spilled cleaner, it was difficult to breath. Fortunately, a staff member relocated us to a different room.I began to consider whether our status as Expedia members led us to receive subpar room choices. However, this is solely my subjective viewpoint. Despite this initial hiccup, our overall stay was delightful.
