Convenient and Reasonably Priced Option
Solid choice in Dortmund, fairly priced, next to the train station. Room was clean and spacious. Easy walk into downtown. Staff was helpful in reserving a car and easy check in.

The location of this hotel is excellent…right next to train station. Staff was helpful and breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. I took away one star because hotel listing says they have a gym. The do NOT have a gym. They have some dumbbells and yoga mats in a tiny corner of the sauna and the space does not open until 3pm.

Medium Quality Hotel, but nice big rooms
The room itself was comfortable, large with separate seating area and good desk and workspace, and suited me well for a 4 day work trip. Whilst there is a tea and coffee station at reception, no kettle or cups provided in the room, which irritates me. I dont want to have to get dressed and go downstairs for a hot drink first thing in the morning. Everything else provided was bare minimum basics. The room was generally clean, but the arm of the sofa, where it met the seat back was literally thick with dust. Breakfast was basic but ok - no other options better nearby though.

The hotel is very close to the mainline station, 2 or 3 minutes walk, easy to find. Reception was very good despite late arrival , even brought me a hot drink to the room. Very spacious room, bathroom excellent. It would have been good to have tea/coffee facility but overall an excellent hote.
