The facility was clean inside and out rooms were good, beds were not to my preference but that isnt saying they were bad. The TV had no sound so I had to fix it myself since I couldnt get lined up with anyone at the front desk during our in and sessions. We stay here all the time when traveling for hockey because they are consistent. We have never had a bad experience.

We weren't able to continue our trip back to Casper due to weather. Was able to easily book a room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had all 3 kids and the dog with us, so we reallt appreciated the quick help to get us to our room and out of the snow.

Room smelled like smoke
When we checked in after 3:00 pm our room wasn’t cleaned yet. We were told they would call us when it was available and we didn’t receive a call. We finally went to our room at 8:30 pm and once we made it into our room it smelled like a pack of cigarettes had just been smoked in it. I went to the desk and asked to be moved to a new room. She said they were full and could give me fabreeze to spray in it. She did offer to give us a discount after I asked since she wasn’t able to move us to another room.

The staff at this hotel were some of the most kindest purest genuine people you could ever come across! I mean absolutely everyone from the front desk staff, to the housekeeping, to the kitchen staff! It’s been quite awhile since I’ve come across folks who genuinely look like they enjoy their job and are just happy to be there that it makes them genuinely kind! Definitely had that Wyoming hospitality!

Douglas overall is a little expensive with hotels. Booking ahead is definitely recommended. The city is nice, historic and has some decent options for food.
