Very close to the Hot Springs. Clean and simple. The hot tub in the room was nice.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is so close to Lava Hot Springs, we ended up walking there after we drove over and realized the parking was only a tiny bit closer than the hotel. The rooms are dated but very comfortable. We stayed in one of the motel ā€“ like buildings next to the main hotel.

I am thoroughly impressed with the staff during my stay. I cut my finger pretty bad, my own fault, and the staff went out of their way to help me by driving me to the local store to get some butterfly bandages and etc. to administer first aid. They were kind and attentive and just pleasant to visit with. After that, the stay was superb! The soaking tub with the mineral water from the spring was a unique touch and very relaxing. We slept well after a soak and walked to breakfast and the hot springs the next morning. I will be staying here every time I come back!

Tiny room
Cons:The room was TINY! Barely enough room to open the door. My husband has a power chair and we had a hell of a time getting it in and out of the room. The bed was hard. Noisy side street right outside our window. No easy access parking. Had to park in the back gravel parking lot and lug our luggage uphill around to the front entrance. If you have accessibilty issues I would not recommend satying here Pros: centrally located. Easy walking distance to everything including hot pots.

The motel has been recently updated and has a very large tub to soak with the same hot spring water as the spas in town. The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful.
