We loved the location and proximity to the university. We even got a river view! The only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the trains were really loud. Earplugs really helped.

Would not give us a first floor room even though I am disabled and we had 2dogs. Gave us a room next to vending and ice machine that kept me awake all night along with the train blowing it's whistle all through the night. Dirty carpets. Would not recommend to anyone.

The two gentlemen that work the front desk are excellent! The breakfast is fantastic. The fire pits are in a section of the parking lot, but with a view of the river and the college stadium. The only issue we had was someone burned popcorn in the microwave at 11:30 pm, and it permeated into our room. The smell was so strong, it woke me up, made my eyes water, and I couldn't sleep well. Had to turn the AC to the lowest setting so that it would continually run, and we were freezing. I think that microwaving popcorn should be banned and anyone who does this should be charged a room fee. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again!
