Blue elk in was great and had the amentities we need while keeping the small inn feel. Our room was huge and easily accomodated our family of 4 plus our crazy dog. We loved it being quiet and out of the downtown rush but an easy walk into town. Take the path through the park- it's beautiful!

Rude reception, heavy footsteps.
The reception we got on our arrival evening was rather rude for the young lady who apparently was trying to go through the motions of her job. The rest of the stay was rather forgettable as our 2 rooms were booked on SEPARATE FLOORS. In addition we were routinely interrupted by the heavy feet of the guests above our room on the 2nd floor. The staff were courteous the rest of our stay including the person who received us on our arrival .

Too loud, bad sound proofing.
Room 106 is just too noisy. It is on the ground floor and underneath the stairs and beside the elevator. Too many kids and guests stomp above you so you cannot have a restful sleep.

Cute smaller hotel at north end of Leavenworth main drag. Can walk easily from the back of the property over to all the shops and restaurants. Very clean, friendly staff, and an excellent continental breakfast.

Property was quaint - room was not very quiet with young kids above us, but it was a solid 4 star property with sauna use, common area, parking, etc. Not very walkable to downtown, but a quick drive. Somewhat basic, but I'd stay there again. Breakfast was a major plus - "full" continental really meant a full breakfast (hot items).

Comfortable stay.
Spacious room and bathroom, comfy bed. Great view of alpine coaster from ground floor room. Breakfast was good, and was changed up everyday. No daily cleaning, but you can ask the front desk if you need anything. Note that front desk is not manned during the night. Only drawback would be the noise from footsteps on the floor above, as well as being able to hear noises from the hallway.
