The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and in an excellent location very close to the Spire and all the attractions. The reception team has be trained better - unfortunately we had a VERY negative experience during check-in. We were not given clear instructions on how to unload our car and then basically condescendingly yelled at by then reception team. Ive never experienced such a rude interaction with someone that is supposed to be helping you. They basically said it's not their responsibility to help us. Crazy. We werent going to let this terrible interaction ruin our trip, so we just moved on, but it left a VERY negative impression on us.
Be clear on instructions for guests when arriving. We had a rental car that needed to be unloaded and returned. There's no place to do this and they werent helpful guiding us at all. It was ridiculous.
For people with cars that arent parking st the hotel, it turns out it's apparently OK to park in a very busy bus lane (in most cities, you'd be towed/ticketed for this) or in a lane that clearly states no stopping/parking.
Anyway, great hotel for the location and cleanliness, but awful interaction with reception.
