The Marine hotel is in a lovely location and would have been grand in its day but it is “off the boil” now and needs some investment in refurbishment. Lift didn’t work on any of the three days I was there, the carpets are old, worn and torn and the decor is dated. Fortunately the access and car parking is easy, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are a good size.

Close to Dart train for easy travel into Dublin and surrounding areas. Staff excellent. Breakfast options okay, good not great. Italian reaturant was closed, which was disappointing. Some take out options acroas the street along with a grocery store for snacks. VIew over the sea was great. Even saw some seals :)

We liked the convenience of the DART to get around. The location to a grocery and pharmacy were excellent especially when one of our party needed access to a prescription.

Great Hotel in a beautiful bayside location with easy access to Dublin city centre, 20 min bus or train ride at your doorstep. Staff are more than helpful. Cafe and grocery market across the road. Rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decked out. The bay view room is fantastic. Will stay there next time I'm in Dublin.

The Hotel is in a great location for those exploring the many surrounding golf courses, Croke Park or just visiting the city centre. It's only 20 mins from the centre of Dublin with public transport (bus or train) right at your doorstep, as well as a supermarket, cafe precinct across the road for all your needs. It is a beach front property with magnificent views of the bay and a beautiful front garden to take advantage of the views. Facilities in the hotel were clean, very comfortable and spacious. A historic hotel restored to its former glory. The Hotel Manager, reception and cleaning staff were always responsive and went above and beyond to look after their guests. If you don't want to be in the hustle of Dublin city centre yet would like easy accessibility when required, this is the place is to stay. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Everything was excellent but the room (104) smelled of damp, particularly the bathroom and this spoiled our stay. We did ask to be moved but the only other room was not suitable. If there had been no smell I would've given each category 5 stars

Nice hotel and view

Beautiful view from our room of the sea. Very nice and clean room, as well as bathroom. Fiona at the reception desk is wonderful. Service for drinks in Schooner bar was terrible except to get drinks. I had to tell the bartender twice we needed to order food and even found the young waiter to tell him. I was told they had 4 events going on at the same time. Bed and pillows not comfortable. No AC, but weather was cool outside. However, had to close window because small flies flew inside. I would consider staying here again.

Property is very nice. Good bar and restaurant on site. great little sandwich/pizza shop across the street as well as a great coffee shop. room was really hot when we got there. no ac. hotel put a fan in there. worked perfect. Thanks.

This place was pretty bad. The rooms were not clean, there was no water pressure in the shower. It had a very outdated and creepy feeling. I would look elsewhere.
