Incredible hotel! We loved our stay and would love to come again. We loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. Super trendy and feels very special. If you stay the sauna and pool are a must as well as checking out the restaurant.
We were a little unimpressed with our checking in experience however. We had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Would have been fine if we were offered a drink or made to feel like appreciated guests, but unfortunately, we were left whilst we watched 6 other guests check in without having to wait like us! Some more care and hosting here would have matched the great vibes of the hotel and seems very important to correct as you’re paying for an expensive boutique hotel.
The Dean Dublin is the next great Jordan Peele film where a group of generally thirty something millennials are welcomed to perfectly curated rooms with vinyls, record players, and vintage furniture, only to be terrorized by a DJ from their 20’s they can no longer see but very much hear.
This is a fantastic place to stay with a 50/50 chance of not sleeping completely dependent on if you face the neighbouring nightclub. This really is the nightclub nightmare neighbour as they don’t stop playing music until roughly 3:00-3:30 EVERY night. They ended at 2:54am for us - just to be merciful.
Staff thought we would be fine facing the nightclub as we did push back to be moved and we were told, give it a go and we’ll see if you hate it later. Spoiler: we did.
Now our friends who stayed on the other side had a completely restful sleep and awoke ready for the day. Us on the other hand, emerged like what I imagine the club next doors floors feel like: worn out.
The hotel was beautiful, well cared for and has excellent facilities. The room was very small, and 2 people could not move at the same time. The beds were very comfortable, which part makes up for the noisy area, with nightclubs all around and could be heard all night. Other than the noise, the location camt be faulted. Incredible shower. The heated pool and sauna are an excellent addition, even if the layout in that are are messy and you have to go through the gym in your towel. The restaurant was fab, but we werent allowed to sit at the windows for drinks unless eating even though they were empty which was a disappointment so we left.
Wouldnt hesitate to come back for a short city break or if solo, but longer or witg more than one would get frustrating quickly with the small space.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff were lovely and welcoming. However, I would not recommend this hotel if you are wanting a good night sleep. Noise from nightclubs was loud, rooms were tiny (could only open one suitcase at a time), no where to place items etc.
Hotel ambience is beautiful, bars downstairs and up are lovely spots to hang out.
I would recommend hotel to write at the beginning of their advertisement on booking websites about noise level (had to scroll all the way to the bottom and had already booked hotel and unable to cancel when saw about noise levels). Definitely a party spot not a place to relax and enjoy.
Lovely hotel, in a very central location. Really enjoyed Sophie’s rooftop bar.

The overnight noise from adjoining bar/club was unbearable. The Dean offered useless ear plugs. Completely unacceptable. Do not stay here. You will regret it regret it.

Part time staff
The staff were never to be found, it was like they were part time, if they felt like it. When they did turn up, they were rude.
