Budget luxury in downtown Toronto
I frequently use the Chelsea when visiting Toronto. The accommodations are dated, but adequate. They are currently refurbishing the hotel. I've always been satisfied with my stay.

There was a few food options which was good and stores to shop in a few blocks away. Staff was nice and friendly. The hot tub could have been warmer and the water was a bit cloudy with no staff in sight, so me and my bf didn’t last long in it. The room was ok and the view ok as well. A lot of buildings surrounding eachother. My room was missing body wash/shampoo, bottle was empty when I went to go use and then we found a stained dirty rag under the bed before we checked out which we had touched thinking it was ours, disgusting!!!! The stay was ok but we won’t be returning. Thank you

Staff let us check in earlier without any drama. We got there at 10am and the room was ready. Very busy hotel but it’s the only hotel in Toronto with a water slide inside, so that’s a plus. They have a separate swimming pool just for adults.
