Simple, quick, easy, friendly, comforting and all the great words to describe the Chelsea Hotel. Second time staying. Flew in for an overnight trip to Toronto with my significant other, and was happy at the simplicity and ease. Hotel needs a slight refresher in the rooms, but you should be exploring the city, not the hotel room. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It is a great location, and very reasonably priced for downtown Toronto. Clean, safe, good for solo travellers, close to many attractions, restaurants, and transit. I parked at 55 Gerrard Street West, and please Google IndigoNEO parking for the app: visitors can reserve in advance, and buy 2- and/or 3-day passes. Families, airline crews, visitors: the hotel is busy, and still takes great care of its guests. Will stay there again.

Room was clean. It was a bit narrow and had to make sure I didn’t bonk my leg against the sharp bed frame or chest of drawers. Not enough counter space and found I had to leave a lot of my stuff on the floor. Bathroom door knob was loose and I was worried it would fall off, so I couldn’t close the bathroom door shut. There was no info about the check out process. I lined up at reception and was eventually told there was no need to check out if paid by credit card. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. No staff in the pool though, so there was nobody to enforce the “no running and diving rules” from all the trashy people that were doing such things. Overall the hotel is nice and clean. The location is perfect for downtown Toronto. A little bit more attention to cleanliness would be appreciated. The price point is on par with the experience. I’d stay here again.
