Particularly liked the Peaky Blinders themed bar.
Unique to the Black Country.
Love that it is walking distance to the Zoo and the Black Country Museum.
I work here in Birmingham and I absolutely love this charming hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and always have a smile on their faces. I've been staying at Station Hotel for the past 3 months and I'm thoroughly enjoying it, especially for the facilities where you can cook and do your laundry. It's a great way to save some money. Collecting rewards and bonuses is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place for short or long stays.
I have been staying in the Station Hotel for 4-5 weeks. And it is Close to Dudley town centre. 15-20min bus travel to Dudley & Sandwell Station. At least a 5-minute walk to the bus stop near Salisbury to catch the Number 87 bus back to the Station Hotel.
Also, I complained about my room, and the receptionists arranged another room to sleep in. I appreciate it. Well done 8/10

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff were very nice. The hotel is old and could use some upkeep. Convenient for what we needed for one night
On the second visit. Where the room is located sometimes will be next to the roads, as you long you mentioned to the staff they might move to another room. Apart from that I am happy staying. And love to upgrade to one of the double rooms. Working the night shift just need a decent sleep.
Needed somewhere to stay in the Midlands this hotel is ok if you just need somewhere to stay.
I would have liked a sheet that didn't have a dirty mark on it though.
The windows were covered by blinds but no curtains so very light in the morning.
Room was very hot sun into room but one window didn't stay open and had a crack in it.
Light switch near bed didn't work
Good things were a microwave sink in room useful if you wanted to make your own food bathroom though basic was clean .
Lovely hotel very friendly and helpful very central to town
Our room was the side of the main road which at night was very busy other than that it was lovely.
The place was uncomfortably hot at all times. Right next to a main road so no chance of sleep as cars and ambulances drive by all night long. Staff don't care and wouldn't help me connect to wifi. Beds have a weird shelf on the bedframe that hangs over the bed making it easy to hit your head. Just an awful experience.
A fine old hotel, fomerly used by stars performing at the Hippodrome. Rooms now have handy kitchen areas, and are warm and spacious. Although breakfast isn't advertised, can usually be arranged.
