Hot Tub was very comfortable (deep enough for relaxing). 'Smores outdoors by firepit in the evening looking at the lake was an unforgettable highlight. Walls are a bit thin and heard more of neighbors than we'd like but everyone was quiet after 11 pm! As we are early risers, we appreciated that! Great walk in shower.

My favorite place to stay!

Beacon Pointe is my favorite place to stay in the Duluth area! It’s so relaxing and peaceful being that close to the lake. Canal Park and downtown Duluth are each five minutes from here. My husband and I love to drive up Hwy 61 to visit one of the state parks nearby.

In general a decent spot to stay but not without its limitations. For smokers be warned that this resort has a very strict no smoking policy even with the balconies. This location does not have cleaners to clean the rooms so you’ll have to pick up after yourself daily. Some things I liked were the free

The property is showing it’s age, but the view is incredible. Some of the layouts are strange, with nooks and crannies and stairs, but that was not a problem for us, just unusual. We enjoyed the selection in the gift shop and the popcorn in the lobby. LOVE the roof patio, the fire pit by the lake, and the staff was fantastic and delightful. Besides the view, the staff was our favorite part of our stay.

Beacon Pointe I have been and try to be a frequent traveler. Through my professional activity and vacations with my family, I have had the opportunity and blessing to travel around many parts of the world. I can speak and offer opinions with particularity and knowledge about hospitality. Unfortunately, lately, service and attention to detail have declined significantly. Perhaps due to cutting corners and not giving travelers what they deserve. Remember, people look for that little corner that somehow makes them feel close to home. I was very surprised and delighted to find this place. I didn't expect such personalized, friendly, and professional service. When I checked into the condo, I was pleasantly surprised. Large, comfortable, well-appointed, and with very tasteful details in the decor. Very well thought out. The privacy of the unit (305B) is excellent. The kitchenware and utensils are of very high quality. But the most important thing is the cleanliness and hygiene. A very rare bird, or a Rara Avis, to find. I hope they continue like this. Especially with the bedding and towels. I wish them the best. Just one detail. They should have at least one unit with a shower for disabled guests, not for me, but for other people. Thank you.
