Phenomenal Location - very poor check-in with front desk
I would have given this review 5 stars had it not been for the very poor and frustrating experience during check-in at the front desk.
The Purgatory Lodge front desk and vacation rental company were not on the same page with our access cards for both the BUILDING and the POOL as well as a parking pass.
We were not aware all of this was needed and made for a lengthy process after driving all day. There was a lot of calling back and forth with the vacation rental company and the front desk, making sure everyone was on the same page.
It was also discovered the vacation rental company failed to contact me when my credit card did not go through for the pool access upgrade. It would've been nice had they let me know none of that went through instead of handling upon arrival.
We also accidentally left some items at the condo and currently working with the vacation rental company to retrieve those items for us. I do feel like this would be a chance for them to redeem over the top customer service with us despite the check-in process.
Bottom line: Condo was awesome, wonderful amenities, everything we need and perfect location/view. Only downside....and a BIG one for us was the arrival mishap with access cards for building, pool and parking pass. That all could've been avoided with some communication via text, email or phone.
