From start to finish this was an awsome place. Staff was nice and very helpful. Room was perfect for us. We did the suite and it was great for 3 of us. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Cant say enough. This stay will definitely having me staying with Best Westerns more often

Overall an excellent experience, except that the fan/heater/a-c motor was noisy. Not terribly loud, but enough to be annoying. I doubt the unit made this much noise when new; they need to service or replace these units.

Very clean, good rates, good breakfast. Rooms are aging, definitely an older motel. Was probably very nice in its day. Needs very basic maintenance to come back around (burned out and mismatched light bulbs, doors stick from settling over the years, could use paint) Overall a great place for the money.

Place is an older property, but they have put a lot effort into renovating the place. Had a large spacious room, with sitting area and large bathroom. New furniture and a comfortable bed. Very clean and lots of amenities in the room. Dog friendly with a really nice grass spot for pet walks I. The parking lot.

Beautiful
The room was great. There was a front sitting room and a separate bedroom in back. The only thing we didn't like was that our 10-year-old daughter was sleeping on the couch near the front door. The decor was beautiful, and the pool looked amazing, but we didn't get to use it. Overall, I would book this room again.

We didn't actually stay there. We had a reservation, my wife got sick, and we went through a nightmare trying unsuccessfully to cancel, thanks to your hotel and Expedia. Below is a copy of a note I sent to Expedia. Our experience was with Expedia was an absolute nightmare. Here is what happened. On Saturday, Oct. 12, we made reservations, through Expedia, for Best Western Turquoise Inn and Suites in Cortez, Colo. The reservation was for Sunday and Monday, Oct. 13 and 14. That night my wife suffered a severe migraine, accompanied by aphasia. As you may know, this can be a prelude to a stroke. The following morning, we tried to cancel the Cortez reservation. I had on my phone a text from Expedia confirming the reservation, I texted back to cancel it and also left messages on the phone number that was on the text. Long story short, I spent much of the day trying to reach you people. Numerous phone calls. Countless texts. All this while trying to deal with the medical situation. I even went to a Best Western in Kingman, Ariz. (we were headed home to California, trip cut short) and asked if they could help. They couldn’t. To say that this callous corporate treatment exacerbated our stress is to understate the situation. We finally got hold of a person, but that went nowhere. We’re home now, and my wife is feeling better (thanks for asking, you blood-sucking ghouls). We’ve been socked with paying for one of the two days for which we were registered at Cortez. We arrived later than our check in time and room was not ready. No big deal we just went and got dinner. Got back and wanted to go to the pool. Water did not look good at all so we skipped it. Pool was a big reason for choosing this hotel for my daughter. Could not sleep due to slamming doors and loud noises all night. Did not choose to stay our second night and have yet to hear back from hotel for any sort of refund for second night that we did not stay.

The staff was extremely accommodating and changed our 2nd floor room to a ground floor room because of my mother's mobility issues. Beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on while traveling. Neighbors were noisy upstairs and next door, but I wouldn't blame the hotel necessarily, except to say it is an older building with thinner walls. Great breakfast with lots of options!

Excellent value. Comfortable, basic accommodations for a one night pass-through stay. Short walk to several local restaurants. The room was quite large. The front landscaping under the property sign could use some sprucing-up for better curb, appeal.
