I found in the shower containers shampoo, soap and conditioners empties and the man that work in the cafeteria very rude, he asked us literally to move out of a table because he needs to clean it. Many ways to request it but not so rude. The rest of staff was good.

The bathroom mirror and mirror on the door were dirty. There was no hand soap, bath wash or bath mat. There was only one hand towel. I had to ask for soap for my bathroom. They charged me for it.

The overworked staff was kind, but there was a long line and one hotel assistant was tasked with getting everyone checked in. I was sixth in line and it took 30+ minutes. When we got to our room, there was a ring of soap scum on the counter and no body wash in the shower. There was also some sort of goop, maybe melted popsicle, that got on my laptop and my sleeve when I set up my computer. Also, this isn't really a dog-friendly hotel. It's $50 additional and you have to sign a form, part of which says you can never leave your dog unattended. Why bother to get a nice, cool hotel room that allows your dog if you're expected to haul him/her around with you wherever you go? I reasoned maybe that just meant outside the room? It didn't come off as that. This could be a nice hotel, but it wasn't when we were there. Fortunately, we were only staying for one night.

While we were there we requested maid service. The first time we left the room and then returned the bathroom was cleaned, but the soap was thrown out & not replaced. The rest of the room wasn’t cleaned. We left & returned 3 hrs later the bed was made but the pillows were on the floor with no cases on them & our sack of snacks had been thrown out. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk we were just told she was in training. We were treated as though it should have been expected by us because the person was new. Nothing was said or offered to compensate us for the lost food, or our inconvenience.

The room was great, as was the full, hot breakfast. My only complaint was the wi-fi. The connection dropped whenever we left the room, and didn't even stay connected overnight, resulting in data roaming charges if you didn't check your connection regularly. In addition, when connecting/reconnecting you are presented with offers to join the Choice "club" and if you decline, you have to watch a 15 second video before you are reconnected. All of this is interesting because none of this happens in the CHOICE hotel we are in.

The staff was very attentive and kind. We stayed only one night. The rooms could use some updating. We’ve stayed in other Comfort Suites updated great. I know it’s hard to schedule out a remold. They were very busy, not sure of occupancy but I bet it was 95+% full. Overall a great stay.

Bed Bugs and Charged Twice

My son had some bites on his face a day after we left, then a few days later, both my wife and I started noticing them. We found out that it was bed bugs. When we called the hotel, we were told the room is shut down and has been treated, so it seems like they knew and did not contact us. We were told we would be reimbursed for the stay, and they charged us a second time instead. I would not suggest this location to anyone.

Hotel was conveniently located with easy access off and on the hwy. Close to town without the traffic of being 'in town'. There were a fewcleaning issues, coffee pot not cleaned with used pod still in it. Bathroom mirrors not cleaned. Otherwise comfortable but not worth the nightly rate.
