Loved it, will be back next time we're in town.
Very nice welcome, room was comfortable, everything worked, cute little gem in walking distance to everything incl. train station, restaurants and bars (old town). Just be aware that the elevator will be shut off during the night and the reception will not be open during night times as well.

Clean and comfortable but basic hotel, ideal for a reasonably priced stay in the Altstadt in Dusseldorf. Plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby and with great transport links. Breakfast in the hotel is continental style.

Rooms are spacious, bathroom was spacious, even though the shower was really small. Probably should've expanded the shower considering the size of the rest of the bathroom? Hotel is in the middle of all the action. Really close to the Dusseldorf metro. Staff was friendly, breakfast was not bad. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area,

More of a hostel than hotel
Booked to watch Bundesliga game. More of a hostel than hotel surrounded by Irish bars. Great for stag and hens but not much more. Floor and curtains dirty and rooms very tired

Fab location right in the heart of the old town which was buzzing. Hotel was average in fact was a pub on the strip. Breakfast was adequate staff were lovely. Good value for money we got we expected

The room was compact but with all new fixtures and fittings which made it very presentable. Great bed and linen. Breakfast was an amazing start to the day. Staff were very helpful and pleasantly provided assistance.

Perfect for the Christmas markets
Really central, lovely helpful staff and the free breakfast was nice. Staff helped with printing boarding passes and telling us what to do in the local area. The only negative I have is that there was no wifi in the rooms or English channels(despite them being in reception). Great for the Christmas markets- will be back

Breakfast was great.Shower was nice and hot.Staff was friendly. Heating perfect. We missed bedside lamps and complimentary coffee/tea in the room. Couldn't appreciate the hairs in the bathroom from the previous guest. Crockery was dirty. No wifi in apartment.

I was given a room over the way in number 16. The room had NO curtains. There had been a blind in the room which had fallen down and thrown behind the cupboard. I requested another room and was told it was not possible. I endured the night. The only WIFI is in the reception. The remote for the TV had no batteries and the room was dirty. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Family of 3 stayed in top attic room. Luckily the old narrow building had a lift. Our stay was fine but the room had a horrible stale council flat smell and even the phone was filthy and grubby. Tried to get rid of the room smell but it was impossible. Otherwise, nice breakfast and great bedding. The shower was old and grubby. But you get what you pay for and this was a cheap deal.

In the middle of old town
Great location, but don't expect to get any sleep. Bars on street level open till 2 AM, very loud, even with windows sealed shut. Morning garbage collection at 5 AM. So you get a maximum of 3 hours peach and quiet.

Good location but rather basic.
We were staying in apartments a short walk from the hotel. Unfortunately we were located on the 4th floor up 4 steep sets of stairs. The room was minimalistic but comfortable. The location was near to the old town and very convenient. The breakfast was also good.
