My wife, my 15 months old son and I had a wonderful time in this hotel. It feels so serene, quiet and magical. The pool is amazing. The food at dinner and breakfast is fantastic. For breakfast you have a big selection at the buffet and also the possibility to order dishes at the table. It was our second time here and we will be coming again for sure. Thanks especially to the staff at breakfast and to the lady who came around serving the hot pan au chocolate this morning which went above and beyond to make our wishes come true.

Review for Hotel Schwabenwirt We stayed at Hotel Schwabenwirt for two nights and had a great experience. One highlight was the early check-in—our room was ready when we arrived, which made things very convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, adding to the pleasant stay. Our room was very spacious, with a modern and well-lit bathroom. The bed was comfortable and spacious, and we slept very well both nights. The windows provided excellent sound insulation, so despite the hotel’s strategic location right across from the Berchtesgaden train and bus station, we had no issues with noise at all. The hotel is located right in front of the Berchtesgadener Ache, a beautiful river with crystal-clear waters, adding to the charm of the surroundings. The location is not only strategic for transportation but also very convenient, with two supermarkets (Rewe and Lidl) and a DM drugstore right next door. This made it easy to grab anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, I wouldn’t think twice about returning to Hotel Schwabenwirt when visiting Berchtesgaden. Its convenient location, beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff make it a great choice. Highly recommended!

I love this hotel, it is centrally located and accessible to to bus and rail transportation.. while, the steps up continue to be a challenge this is not a deal breaker. I enjoy my visits here and love the view at bereakfast and the friendly staff. I recommend a visit here any time. Bill

We spent a wonderful 5 days here. The young couple is charming. The unit was immaculately clean and provides everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The galley is small but functional for preparing meals. And the views are absolutely stunning.

The property is perfectly situated for hiking, visiting local attractions (Eagle’s Nest, Königssee), and enjoying quiet simple dinners on the terrace while watching the sun set behind the mountains. It was simply wonderful-clean and simple-and the hosts were kind and helpful. Very clean too.
