The hotel is excellent. Well kept, quaint throwback in time. All services were great except for shuttle service. We took the shuttle downtown for a college graduation ceremony. The shuttle driver gave us a phone number and said to call him when we were ready to come back to the hotel. When we tried to call him, it immediately went in to voice mail and stated that his voicemail box was full. So we had to take an Uber back to the hotel.

Great shuttle service, took us to the 3rd Ward, picked us up at Maders German Restaurant. Took us back to Shaker's Cigar Bar and picked us back up. Learned that unfortunately, one of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims lost his life in room 507. We watch a lot of true crimes shows on TV, later checked out the 5th floor. There is a room, up not a # on the room. The only things we didn't like was the lighting. All the lights came on at once and took a while to figure how to use them. It seemed like when the light were off, the fridge went off? Some type of energy saving feature. The TV remote took some figuring out how to use. Great service and clean! The best location if you're seeing a concert or event at The Rave Eagles Club.

Great service, comfortable and beautiful hotel
The hotel was beautiful and our room was large compared to most hotels. The staff was exceptional and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a place more welcoming and friendly. Our waitress at the restaurant was outstanding and everyone was attentive throughout the hotel. The surrounding area was a little sketchy and we were approached by panhandlers and had an encounter someone struggling with mental illness but would definitely stay again if I was attending an event at The Rave.
