We love staying at the Royal Albert - the rooms are huuuuge, the bed is so comfy, and even though the building is getting a little tired, you can’t go past the location convenience.

Excellent location right at the heart of CBD. I like the spacious room, microwave oven and kettle. I wish they have stronger lighting over the writing desk. The biggest downside is the weak WiFi. I had to quit a Zoom meeting due to poor internet connection. I had to use my phone as hotspot to complete the flight check-in online. The WiFi was so weak that the page wouldn't load.

Don’t travel to this place if you need internet! They have 3 or 4 wifi connections and none worked. When I called they told me yes it goes in out nothing we could do! I was on a business trip which is unacceptable. I call this false advertising. Carpets are stained and needs a massive makeover. They should drop their rates

Amazing old hotel/apartments with real style. A bit old fashioned but a real experience to stay there. Amazing location right in the heart of CBD literally across the road from largest shopping complex, and only blocks from everywhere including the main railway, CityCat ferry terminals and bus depots for Brisbane. Reception staff wonderful. I ws amazed I could afford such a large apartment in that location. Will stay thee again if I need a Brisbane CBD base.

Classic heritage in the midst of modernity
A great aparthotel right in the heart of CBD and just across the road from Queen Street Mall, the main shopping street in Brisbane. Great heritage (111 years old!) With classic furnishing yet convenient with modern amenities like washer and dryer, fridge and dishwasher, microwave and such. Very near to the botanical garden and running route along the river.

We were a group of 5 ladies and stayed in the sub penthouse. The size of the apartment was spectacular. The location was also fabulous, we were in town to visit the Star and this was only a short walk. Sadly a few bits and pieces in the apartment were broken, or near to breaking, like taps and toilets. The duvet covers were a little musty and could use a dryclean. For one night though all this is easily overlooked for the size, value and location

Convenient Location
This was our second stay at Royal Albert. Great place to stay to explore Brisbane City with just a short walk to bus & train stations. The hotel no longer has its own parking facilities, so we parked literally across the road at 140 Elizabeth Street. Plenty of dining options around the hotel. We will stay there again.
