Nasty place
The first room we stayed in was 113. It was disgusting. It reeked of smoke. Right outside the door was a giant ashtray and the designated smoking area. We asked for a new room but she said they had none. The next morning (after having to sleep with the blankets over our heads because it stunk) we were told by the employee named Star that she would reach out to manager to get us some kind of credit. When I saw her later that day she said he was working on it and would be in touch with us no later than Sunday morning. We never heard from him. The new room we had which was a suite was way better but the shower did not drain and we had to scoop the water out otherwise it would flood the room, They see getting away with surge pricing but the place is disgusting. Pay more elsewhere!

My need was fulfilled
The room did the job. I needed a place to stay vs. traveling home to SE Michigan and returning back to mid-Michigan the next day. It met my basic needs. I would definitely utilize this property again if I needed a quick place to stay, but the fitness center... left me wanting.

I’d book elsewhere if I were you…
Just spend a little extra on a nicer hotel and avoid this place. There was a bio-hazard in my room and the hotel staff would not even refund me. The entire hotel felt dirty. The carpets in the stairway were clearly not cleaned in a long time. All glass doors were visibly dirty. Then the hazardous item in my room… if the room had been vacuumed, this hazardous item would have been seen. So clearly the room had not been properly cleaned in some time. Also, if you like to sleep in a dark room… look somewhere else for your stay. Very bright lights right outside of the window and insufficient curtains.

There was knocking on the door next to us at 2:30 am. There was an empty lot on the rear of the property that had a group of people hanging out late at night that made me uncomfortable. Would never recommend this hotel!
