When I arrived the front desk attendant seemed to be on the phone with the police about a man who had just been at the desk and seemed to have been a guest. The attendant still checked me in as quickly as he could between providing information to the person on the other end of the call. He was friendly and helpful, but the fact the call was necessary made me feel somewhat unsafe. The room had elements that resembled the photos, but was definitely old with just newer furniture, and the room had a somewhat strong and not altogether pleasant smell, despite appearing clean. Likely can't clean the smell away anymore without replacing carpets and draperies.

The room had black stains on the floor and the desk chair also had stains or didn't seem clean. I asked the desk clerk about it when I checked out; clerk said stain was from hair dye from a previous guest. I didn't swim because the pool looked cloudy. The condition of the room made it feel like management didn't care. Many other rooms had doors ajar with renovation or reflooring projects. Breakfast provision was minimal. The whole experience was below Days Inn standards.

Hotel Disaster
We would not recommend this hotel. The room was filthy, bins not emptied from previous guest, bath did not drain so were standing in dirty water. See photo of black mould in bathroom. Constant noise from Interstate Breakfast was minimal, no choice of bread the only fruit offered was bananas, well past their edible status. Should not be listed

Owner was rude. Check in was *painful*. Hot tub was luke warm, and the pool was freezing. Breakfast was fine, but really basic. Good place to sleep, if you dont need anything else.

A decent overnight stay
Overall, good stay for an overnight drive. (+) Clean and comfortable room, bed, pillow, and sheets. Which is probably 90% of what I needed for the night. (-) The TV remote in my room wasn't working well, but I made do. The bathroom looked like it was in midway through a renovation. But it was clean and usable. It was missing the exhaust fan, the paint above the shower liner was chipping, and there were clear signs that wall patching still needed to be completed. But, the shower liner looked new(ish), the shower worked well and I had good running hot water for my shower. So serviceable for my overnight needs.

Grossest hotel I’ve ever been in. Super dirty. There were blood stains on the sheets. The room STUNK. Dirty underwear and mold in the bathroom. Staff were super rude.

We brought our dogs with us, I did not see anywhere when booking that there would be a $20/dog fee, which made the room not worth the price. I understand dogs can make messes but a deposit for if they made a mess would be more appropriate. When we walked into our room, 122, it stunk like animal urine so bad we had to bring the manager down to make sure we wouldn't be charged the $250 cleaning fee. After that we went to Menards to get febreeze. The hot tub was still not fixed (review from may 11 said it was down) but the pool was nice. The continental breakfast was lack luster and the coffee was more like warm water. We stay at a decent amount of hotels and don't need a lot, I understand what I'm getting with a cheaper hotel but this was pretty bad. The staff was very nice though!
