A hotel located in a great location.
This hotel is located in a great location to see the sites of Edinburgh without the need of a taxi/bus. Our room was located right next to the elevator and was noisy at times. The room lack a luggage rack which made getting in/out of our luggage somewhat of a pain. Otherwise, not bad. Staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

We had a great time in Scotland. Staying at Cityroomz was the perfect place. Close to everything and yet removed enough so it wasnt in the heart of the hussle and bussle of the city. Well worth staying here!!

This was in a very convenient location for public transportation. I would not necessarily get this hotel if I was planning on getting a car, as there isn’t very close parking. However, it’s in a good location to walk around in, lots of restaurants, it is within a 20 min walk of Old Town, and it was an easy trip to and from the airport on the tram. Hotel room could’ve been a little cleaner, mostly the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. The bed was nice and clean though! It was a nice and quiet hotel, I couldn’t hear anything through the walls or up above. Customer service was great. Overall, I would stay here again.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. Check in was easy. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but we didn't spend much time there except for sleeping and showering. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance. There was even a farmer's market minutes away. Would recommend.

Great location and easy to navigate to from the airport, with the 100 bus stop opposite. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The room is quite dated and very basic, multiple towels ‘dumped’ on the rail, mis-matches mugs, bed was very uncomfortable. Convenient, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

3rd floor suite next to restaurant with live music. Curfew 3 AM! They moved me to 1st floor but not much better. Sofa bed in middle of LR could not close. Dishwasher apparently broken. Cigarette smell crept in from outside cafe. Staff tried so hard to help. Not their fault.

The room itself was fine. We had issues with our drain that took few attempts for the team to come out and resolve. Also the daily cleaning was inconsistent. The hotel however is in a wonderful location and easily walkable to many destinations

Unfortunately we were not able to sleep very well at all at this hotel. Even though it was cold outside, the room wasn't well ventilated without the window open, so the room heated up. The room didn't have air conditioning, so our only option was to open the window. This still didn't really cool the room down very well. But it let in a lot of noise from a music venue very close by (i.e. with thumping noise, lasting until at least 3am). We think we probably would have heard this noise anyway, even with the window closed.

The beds were comfortable. The shower is a very big step down to exit. My aunt slipped as she stepped out. The location was great with attractions no more than a 20 minute walk away. Plenty of eateries and bars near by. We had a great stay.

Hotel was lovely very good location. I had booked a family room but there was maintenance on the room so we were given 2 room but only had bunk beds in them. Beds very super comfy and rooms were spacious and big tv on the wall. Overall can’t complain excellent room for what we paid.

Overall, I am happy with the hotel choice. The staff were great and accommodating. The rooms are a little outdated but were kept clean. The location was super. The lights even went out one night very late in the morning, but I think the staff quickly got it working again after a few hours. Big kudos to the great staff there. For the negatives, the internet wasn't the best. For example, it didn't seem to support viewing my security cameras at my house, but it worked on other wifi networks in the city. The workability of the bathrooms could be improved. I noticed several flaws from drains not working correctly, to the shower allowing water to drip out on the floor because it is not properly sealed. In our first room, the mirror was warped even. After the power outage, we couldn't take an elevator from the 4th floor down. We had to bring bags to the 3rd floor and it worked from there. Thanks for having us. I would stay again.
