We head here for a night away from home, rooms quiet and comfortable, staff impeccable, food always good although it's a shame that halibut seems to have slipped off the menu.

This is a beautiful hotel. Our first visit to Scotland and will definitely be returning. We decided to use the transit system which gave us the opportunity to see parts around the outskirts of Edinburgh that we would not have seen had we had a car rental at this point of our trip.

It is quite far from the airport £28 cab fare We were given an assessibilty bathroom, which we do not need, it was very small, and difficult for us with all the extra railings, low sinks etc. Room was not ready and there was very poor lighting. Less than stellar!
