Hotel du Vin is very conveniently located to the Royal Mile. The hotel was stylish and comfortable. The rooms were clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The Bistro was ok. Some dinners were excellent and some not good at all but the service was good. Upstairs bar was cozy and the bartender was the hardest working employee... get him a bar back! Recommend staying here. If you dine, order the pate !

The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. Only thing to be warned of is that the elevators are small so if you have a lot of luggage you might have to make 2 trips!

The Hotel du Vin and Bistro seems to be one of the nicest hotels in Old Edinburgh, close to all of the main tourist attractions. I loved the L'Occitane products in the bathroom. The service was a little lacking, but I would stay there again.

Fantastic stay at Hotel du Vin.
Excellent hotel! Fantastic staff, especially Chelsea, Jenny and Sam. Ben is the manager and he was great too! The hotel is in the perfect location. Close to everything but away from the noise. The rooms are beautiful and quaint and the bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Can wait to come back! Thanks for the great stay!
