Champagne Supernova!
Beautiful new hotel within walking distance to all major sites & right next to train station. Super friendly & helpful staff. Complimentary champagne on arrival is a lovely touch, as is the free mini bar & snacks in room, not often offered by hotels nowadays! Our room was clean & cosy with all mod cons. Stunning views from 7th floor bar. Loved our stay, thank you :)

Great location next to Edinburgh Waverley station, and most attractions a walkable distance or transport links nearby if needed. Room was spacious with all the necessities and the complimentary mini bar and snacks available at the time was a nice touch. Due to the design of the building, the windows were a bit on the small side in our room, so natural light was a bit restricted. However, still a nice place to be overall. The bar upstairs is a nice place to have a drink if you fancy it, but there’s loads of restaurants, pubs and bars nearby.

Very poor serivice. My wife arrived ahead of me at midnight but they would not allow her to check in as they said it had to be the person who booked even though we had the same surname. When I eventuall arrived I had to wait outside until the staff member came to buzz me in even thoigh it was freezing and wet outside. When questioned the receptionist about check in he literally ignored my questions. When we eventually got checked in we were told we could not order a drink even to our room and only the mini bar was available which had a selection of over thought drinks that were not appealing. We also booked a room with a view but were on the first floor overlooking the main road
