The pod is so cozy and perfect for a few days away. As an American family we are a little more used to larger beds but the smaller scale beds seemed to be the usual in Scotland. Carly was very helpful and personable. Their restaurant was delicious. Hot tub is an extra bonus. We loved everything and recommend Juniperlea Inn! Btw we did hire a car and parked at Wallyford park and ride when going to Edinburgh.
Nice room and very comfortable bed. Small touches like coffee maker and fresh milk in the fridge were nice. Only thing I could mark it down on was some black mould around the bath taps and shower screen which should really have been spotted by whoever cleans the bathroom. Otherwise excellent and will definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh.
Nice small inn and only a short drive to Edinburgh … the room was clean and comfortable and independently accessible when the main area was shut. We used the in house restaurant and found the food and service top notch. No complaints there at all.
Only niggle the inn is on a busy main road and we had the room closest to the main road so had road noise - personally that doesn’t bother us but i would assume noise sensitive guests would have an issue with it..
We loved our stay at Juniperlea Inn, the owners Carly and Graeme were exceptional hosts, both very friendly and great people. The Inn had a very homely feeling and the accommodation was large and very clean, comfy bed, couldn't have asked for more.
They have a great chef whose meals were excellent. Highly recommend
Great wee pod with great add ons like milk etc. in the fridge and a wee speaker. Super clean, everything in perfect condition and was just super relaxing! The one thing I would say is 10am checkout is a little early and 11 would be better but still a 10/10 stay!
Good place to stay. A little far from city but we figured out what to do.
Close to well traveled road. Not a major issue for us but for some it could be
Hotel. Com says daily housekeeping available but they declined it and the host behaviour is very rude on phn dint meet once,Wi-Fi was not working we complained but no use.
We arrived to find the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Room was well appointed.
Breakfast was left in the room.
Unfortunately the Wi-Fi suffered damage in a storm and was unavailable 4 weeks after the storm
.
The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and there was a nice selection of snacks and breakfast items in our room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days.
