The lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out. Ended up booking are room for the day after I needed as it was after midnight and we just needed to get some sleep. She ended up doing a cash out to start her next day so she could check us in.

We loved our stay. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel is spotless. Breakfast was incredibly extensive for being continental. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was wonderful being directly across from WEM. I was attending a two-day conference so a ten minute walk got me to and from the conference. Our only complaint is the room temperature. With the thermostat at the lowest setting, our room was cooking hot unless we ran the fan or the air-conditioning, both of which were noisy. Otherwise, our stay was superb. I will stay here again if I am back in Edmonton and recommend other travelers to keep this hotel in mind.

The best part of the hotel is the location. It is a easy walk to the West Edmonton Mall. When you walk aver to the mall, you enter where all the restaurants are. Very good food at the various restaurants. What we did not like about the hotel, no grab rails for the high walled tubs, for people who have walking issues to get in and out of the tub. My wife had to sponge bath the whole time we were at the hotel.

I regret not doing more research before booking. This hotel is old and poorly maintained. The walls are incredibly thin, and you can clearly hear the conversations of the questionable clientele the hotel seems to attract. On the first morning, there was no breakfast because the staff didn’t show up. The front desk employee, who was the only person working at 7:30 AM, couldn’t get in touch with management to address the issue. A large group of guests was left waiting for breakfast, and no one properly communicated what was going on. Additionally, the WiFi isn’t actually provided by the hotel—they tell you to connect to the mall’s WiFi, which results in a very weak signal.

A bit past its prime. Over priced for its only thing going for it is proximity to the tired old mall. The hotel matches the energy of the big mall, over priced and dated. Bathroom had long hair all over the tub, carpets are dirty. If the price was about 1/2 it would be more suiting.
