We enjoyed our suite (The Derby) and its amenities. The staff (Devon in the dining room and Fitzroy at the front entrance), were very kind, accommodating and gracious. We felt vey welcome! Thanks to everyone!
Lovely old school property with beautiful landscaped grounds, a bar and a breakfast terrace. The staff are just lovely. The service at breakfast is slow, but I guess it is the island way of life. A short walk to Devon House, and not far at all from the Marley Museum. Easy to find and well located. We loved our stay.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, the immaculate and spacious room, the convenient location that allow for easy access to local attractions and other dining options. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to families and colleagues.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
A very disappointing experience due to the following:
1)Booked 2 rooms with 2 separate beds, however requirements were not met and necessitated lengthy discussions to resolve the issue
2) I was informed that booking would include use of pool,, but I was unable to access the pool throughout my stay.
3) Booked a room with a Jacuzzi only to find there was no Jacuzzi just a large bath.
4) Hand sanitizers not working
5) I was told that. Buffet would be £25-30 per head. I arranged for 10 people.to have the Buffet lunch and when the bill came it turned out to be $50 per head.
POSITIVES
Breakfast was excellent.
Manager listened to above complaints offered a complimentary nights stay for next visit to Jamaica, however this was not put in writing, therefore this may cause an issue when attempting to utilise the offer.
They weren’t very accommodating although I alerted I was there for a funeral. Dinner service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to get a ginger ale. The waitress was rude. I asked for 1st floor and was not accommodated
I enjoyed my stay all the staff was nice and courteous they made your stay very pleasant.

Overall good! They were flexible with VIP item - wine quickly substituted for sparkling water. I have to another hotel for years (at least 15 times) and they didn’t assist with an alternative because don't drink alcohol.
This was excellent.
There was a issue in the room that the overall rating to be compromised.
I always stay here when in Kingston because I like the quiet small atmosphere, along with the included breakfast, great staff and proximity to a lot of places.

Check in was smooth and easy however I was shocked to find out about a USD $500 deposit upon arrival. Food was good. Hotel is clean. Gym was ok. Am still awaiting release of my deposit 1 week after settling all my bills.

Everything was truly wonderful!
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of Jamaican food options. Gym was reasonably well equipped. Parking was easy.
