Weve stayed here a number of times due to the availability of parking, its location and price. The property itself is basic, there is no fridge in the room, very little storage, no smart tv but you do get breakfast included in the price. I would suggest your own transport is essential if you stay here as the hotel is fairly isolated. Staff are mostly ok, one appeared a bit unhappy & somewhat abrupt but that’s all. Ultimately it’s a good place to stay for a day or two, for the price we paid, I could get a Airbnb to myself nearer to where I need to be so I think I might try that next time.

Nice hotel for an over night. Nicely postioned at the finishing line of the race course with a pub in walking distant. Not much else near by for walking but saying that if you like walking there are some great walks around the downs.

Place and staff very helpful with nothing too much trouble.food excelent. Not a thing we could fault and would certainly return again if in the area. We use holiday inn quite often and next visit will be york for the second time this year which we also couldn't fault well done and kind regards.
