2 night stay at Christmas
Property itself and location were excellent. Check in process less than smooth. Sent QR code which didn't do anything. Took quite a few communications to get 4 digit lock code. Folks on cell in car next to us having same issue. Suggestions: Need more glasses. Had to drink water out of wine glass because others taken. Had to guess at how to work things. Heat, how turn on fireplace, how to work curtain on skylight. A quick cheat sheet on functions would be helpful. Understand that remote would be expensive for skylight but changing to smoother rod and rings so easier shade easier to move would be helpful. Timely responses when needed help upon was appreciated. Outdoor lights out on second floor. For older people esp. finding room, walking on deck and going up/down stairs risky. Understand that there was last minute issue that couldn't be fixed right away but wouldn't have been that difficult to put out a few some motion detector lights along deck lights while waiting for repair. Assigned parking spaces quite limited. Packing and unpacking car across street a bit tricky. Esp. for seniors. Once we figured out how to work everything, got some plastic glasses, and and figured out best way to deal w/parking challenges, stay was enjoyable. Recommend just removing cable challenge info. Don't think cable even exists there anymore. Replace w/"how to work..." info sheet would be an improvement. Location was great and we plan on returning and will know to bring glasses and shampoo.
