When I arrived @ 9 PM, I was informed that there wasn't hot water but that it would be restored by midnight. I didn't think it would be a big deal as I wasn't in need of it until the morning. However, in the morning, it was still very cold water. The front desk personnel were completely unsympathetic when I asked for a discount or other consideration. They showed no remorse for the cold water and didn't even offer an apology. They almost appeared to have a smirk on their face about it.
The final thing is that when I opened the door to my room, it was very musty-smelling. My immediate thought was, "Where is the mold?" I was tired, and given my experience at the check-in, I didn't waste any time asking for another room. I didn't want to put them out by asking for something.
