Walking distance to the city centre. However I would prefer the hotel to advice that though parking is available but a fee is charged, this was not shown on their website.

Fantastic Stay
Absolutely fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn, the staff were fantastic all round, a big shout out to Ian, who has been brilliant throughout our stay. The breakfast as always was beautiful the only thing i would say about this you have changed your apple juice for 'cloudy apple', please go back to apple juice as that isnt very noce for breakfast its like apple squash!

Okay for a family of 4 for 1 night but no longer.
The hotel is well located (10 min walk into city) and parking is available but at an extra cost. The breakfast was good and there was enough choice but had to wait 10 mins for a table on the Sunday morning as it was busy - Saturday was fine. There were 4 of us staying in a family room and the double bed was good but the pull-out sofa was between a single and double size so the 2 children sharing weren't very comfortable but managed. Staff were all lovely and very helpful.

Great location for short walk to busy areas. Clean room with plenty of space to work. Shower worked well & hot which is always a bonus. Breakfast also a good spread & hot. Not always keen on Buffets but this was OK!

The bed was very, very firm and the pillows very fat, so I did not sleep with any comfort. I was told at checkout that a whole array of different pillows can be provided, perhaps mentioning that at checkIN would have been more helpful. I tried to reserve onsite parking when I booked the room but was advised there was no availability. Parked elsewhere in town, when we arrived at the hotel the car park was half empty! Small, rather stuffy room. Average standard breakfast. Staff were pleasant, the best thing about the place, to be honest.
