Great location for a trip to The New River Gorge! Very nice staff, clean room and they had a good variety of breakfast foods available. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here previously. The woman that handles the breakfast area should get 10 stars. I asked only for clean towels on my last day, 10 hours later i had to go to the desk and get them. The parking area at times looked a little trashy

We like everything about this comfort inn… from the cleanliness and free water and coffee. We just wish the young woman at the front desk could be nicer. But the gentleman at the front desk is very friendly and helpful, that young woman can copy him about the nice attitude. The place is very clean! Great job cleaning service!

The beds and pillows were very comfy. Some of the best we've experienced and the hotel was immaculate. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and provided us with an excellent place to eat, Cafe One Ten. Great burgers and fries!

The only negative thing I have to say about my stay is that the pool was empty. I booked this hotel because there was an outdoor pool that we were looking forward to enjoying.

The details matter.
Room thermostat ‘‘was set for 60 when we arrived. Brrr. One bar of soap for sink and bathtub. Shampoo bottle was partially full so good thing my husband shaves his head or we wouldn’t have had enough shampoo for the three guests in the room. Microwave clock was off by hours. Seriously? It took 10 seconds to fix. It’s the small details that reflect the level of customer service. Other than that beds were comfortable, breakfast was good.

Needs work
The television volume was locked at a low volume. Was very hard to hear. We had a do not disturb sign on the door, but housekeeping still tried to get in and then about two hours before check out our keys stopped working. We had to go back downstairs and Program the keys. Breakfast wasn’t replenished as it should have been. And they kept running out of coffee. I felt the price was a little high for what and where it was. The microwave didn’t work properly. Anything else and the bathroom sink drain was very slow to go down But I did love the ice cold, lemon water in the entranceway.

The hotel was clean. There was always an employee available and all of them were very nice. I had no issues checking in or out. The free breakfast was great! The room & bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I had absolutely no issues. It located close to lots of restaurants and stores.
